Bridge of the Day of Judgement
( arb. Sirat) This is the bridge people have to walk
on after the Day of Resurrection to meet their Lord on the Day of Judgement.
The ease of crossing it depends on the weight of deeds one is carrying. Some cross
like lightening, while others have to carry their burdens and move at varying
paste. Walking on it in a dream means a journey. If the bridge caves under one’s
feet in the dream, it means destruction and death. Seeing this bridge in a dream
also represents knowledge, truth, believing in God’s oneness and following the
teachings and example of God’s Messenger upon whom be peace. If one’s foot
slips while crossing in the dream, it means that he will miss the true path. If
one sees himself walking the path in a dream, it means that he is on the right
track, follows what is commanded and abstains from what is forbidden. It also
means that one will undergo awesome changes, undertakes major responsibili¬
ties and succeeds to reach safety. If one’s foot slips in a dream, it also means that
he will fall into sin and deviate from the straight path.

Elephant
(Arrogance) In a dream, an elephant represents a respected and feared
enemy who is dull-witted, who carries heavy burdens or responsibilities and
who is expert in war tactics. An elephant in a dream also signifies arrogance.
Riding an elephant or controlling it in a dream means establishing ties with a
leader or a politician and profiteering from one’s connection. It also means living
a long and a prosperous life. Riding an elephant during the nighttime in a dream
means rising in rank, and should one be suited for leadership, he will receive
it then engage in a war which he will lose. Riding an elephant during the
daylight hours in a dream means divorce, perfidy, betrayal or deceit. Milking
an elephant or taking something out of its trunk in a dream means either
extortion or receiving lawful money from a powerful person. It is also said that
an elephant in a dream represents a mighty king who is gracious and generous,
patient and tender hearted. If an elephant hits someone with his trunk in a
dream, it means receiving benefits from such a person or inheriting something
from him, receiving a political appointment, or becoming wealthy through high
connections. An elephant in a dream also represents righteous people, scholars
and noble ones. An elephant in a dream also denotes hardships, toiling, then
relief from adversities. Seeing an elephant in a dream and failing to ride on it
means lack of integrity or loss of business. Seeing a dead elephant in a dream
means that the ruler or a great person from that land will die, or that a noble
person will be killed. Seeing an elephant in a land other than its native land in
a dream means adversities. If one faces a threatening elephant in a dream, it
means an illness. If one falls under the feet of an elephant in a dream, it means
his death. Speaking to an elephant in a dream means receiving a precious gift
from someone in authority. Running away in fear of an elephant in a dream
means being persecuted by someone in authority. Riding an elephant during a
war in a dream means defeat and subsequent destruction. Eating elephant’s
meat in a dream means money. As for worldly people, seeing an elephant in a
dream means benefits, but as for pious and religious people, it denotes adversities.
Riding an elephant in a dream also may denote lies or oppression. An elephant
entering a land other than its natural habitat signifies an official visit of a king
or a president to another country, or it could mean invading it.

Stream
(Brook; Creek; Irrigation; Rivulet; Watering) In a dream, a stream
represents the course of one’s livelihood, his source of income, his shop, his
trade, travels and the like interests. A stream in a dream also could mean
festering wounds, waterskin, watering irrigation, the resting area on the
highway, one’s throat which is the watering access of his body, or it could
represent life if it is public property. If it is a private property, then it represents
the life of the person who digs out such a stream. A stream in a dream also
represents a good life, or the comfort of its owner. If its water flows over its banks
in the dream, then it represents sorrows, crying, or sadness. If one sees a stream
flowing through people’s homes in a dream, then such a stream represents a
happy life and particularly when its water is colorless and sweet tasting. If one
sees himself as the owner of a stream, a spring, or a watercourse which he
establishes as a charity in a dream, it means that he will become a leader, a
president, or happily serve his community. If one cleans a rivulet then finds it
filthy again, or finds it filled with trash in his dream, it represents diarrhea. If
he sees water flowing under his feet in a dream, then it means dropsy. If one sees
a stream of water running through a town where people are filling their jars,
drinking its water and thanking God for His blessings in a dream, it means that
a calamity is removed and is replaced with peace, safety and tranquility. If the
people are inflicted with adversities or a drought, then it means prosperity and
rains, food, or money and their merchandise will not stagnate. If the water in
the stream is murky, or salty, or running outside its canal, then it represents
a coming calamity that will cause mass sufferings, or a sickness such as cold in
the winter and fever in the summer, or it could mean that they will hear bad
news about some travellers, or it could represent a richness which is acquired
from an unlawful source, or it could mean that he will receive tainted money.
If one sees a watercourse flowing only in the direction of his house, then such
adversities will be his lot. If one sees a stream flowing in the direction of his
house, or garden in a dream, it means a marriage or conceiving a child. A stream
of flowing blood rather than water in a dream represents the deviation of one’s wife.
If one sees a stream running off its course, or damaging people’s crops in
a dream, it means bad news. Blocking the path of a stream in a dream means
separation between a husband and a wife, or avoiding a sinful action between
unmarried relatives. If one sees himself standing behind a rivulet in a dream,
it means that his wife will inherit him. If one sees the water of a stream flowing
toward his own home or garden, and if he finds that its water has turned into
blood in the dream, it means that someone will marry his wife after him.
Drinking fresh water from a rivulet, a stream, or a river in a dream represents
the joy of living or longevity. A murky water of a rivulet or a stream in a dream
means a fright, difficulties, or a sickness. Streams in a dream also represent the

Dye
(Color; Expose; Hair; Henna; Hide; Gray hair) Applying henna or a dye to
one’s hair or hands in a dream represents a pharmacist, celebrations, glad
tidings, tenderness, or it could mean compassion. Dyeing one’s hair in a dream
also means veiling or protecting one’s personal life and that of others. To dye
the gray hair of one’s beard in a dream means ostentatiousness and adorning
one’s merchandise or deeds to make them look better than reality. Dyeing one’s
hair in a dream also connotes a display of blessings and favors, or it could mean
dictating one’s conditions to his enemy, if the person is in such position.
However, if not, it means difficulties, aggravation, distress, debts or dropping
off one’s ties with those who love him. Interpreting woman’s dyeing of her hair
in a dream is the same as that of a man. To dye one’s gray hair in a dream means
strength, dignity and valor. Applying henna dye to one’s head and not to one’s
beard in a dream means emulating the traditions of God’s Prophet, upon whom
be peace. To dye both the head and the beard in a dream means concealing one’s
poverty, though one will keep asking people to pay him respect or to recognize
him in their circles. If one’s hair accepts the dye in the dream, it means regaining
one’s status, though with less emphasis on his pride, or it could mean that he
will make contentment his new ornament or trim. If one uses a dye other than
what is commonly used, and if it works in the dream, it means that he will be
saved from an adverse condition through miraculous events. If the new dye does
not work in the dream, it means that his true nature will be exposed and he will
have no solutions to protect himself from defamation or public abuse. If he tries
to dyes his hair with dry henna clay, and if his hair still accepts it in the dream,
it means that he is an ignorant person, though he will ultimately repent for his
sins, amend his actions and improve himself. If a woman sees her hands dyed
with gold in a dream, it means that she will give all her wealth to her husband
and that she will be satisfied to see him happy, though in reality she too will gain
power and status in her family. If a man sees his feet dyed and tattooed in a
dream, it means that he will be struck with family problems. A dyed hand in a
dream means hardship in making ends meet. If one dips his hand into a laying
corpse in a dream, it means that he will witness a conspiracy. If one sees his
hands dyed in a dream, it also means that he has reached the end of the rope
with his money or business. If one sees his dyed hands wrapped or bandaged in
a dream, it means that he will lose a trial or a fight with his rivals, or that he
will fail to meet such a challenge again. Dyeing only the finger with henna in
a dream represents branches of dates or clusters of grapes. In general, dyeing
one’s hands with henna or one’s hair with regular dye as a makeup in a dream
represents joy for the husband and wife as long as they do not exceed the norms.
Dyeing one’s hands and feet in a dream means redecorating one’s house. If a poor
person sees himself dyeing his hands or hair in a dream, it means that he will
cover up the loss of his ablution during prayers or during his reading of the Holy
Quran or during other ritual occasions where he is required to have ablution
before proceeding. It could also mean that he cares little about attending his
prayers. As for women, dyeing means happiness, new clothing, receiving gold,
or a wedding celebration. If the dye exceeds the required surface of the hands
or the feet in the dream, it means being struck with fear and worries caused by
one’s business or friends. If a man sees himself in a dream dyeing his hair or
beard with other than henna, it means that he will suffer from what he fears
most. Dyeing or suppressing one’s feelings for a sick person means recovering
from his ailment. Dyeing one’s hair black in a dream means hiding one’s bad
conditions, spoiling the benefits of one’s deeds, or hiding one’s evil intentions.
This is taken from the practice of Egypt’s Pharaoh who sometimes dyed his hair
black, thus trying to hide his appearance and ignorance.

(Dwellings; Face; Look; State; Transient) One’s garment in a dream
represents his innermost thoughts that will eventually show in his attitude in
life. If one’s thoughts are good, then it will show, and if they are evil, they will
also manifest. If one wears a slipper over his head and a turban in his foot in
a dream, it means that he is carrying trouble. Depending on its type and name,
a garment in a dream could represent a man or a woman. Wearing a new
garment in a dream is better than seeing an old one. If a man sees himself
wearing a woman’s apparel in a dream, it means that he is a bachelor. If a woman
sees herself wearing a man’s garment in a dream, it means that she is
unmarried. Wearing a tightly buttoned shirt in a dream means experiencing
tight circumstances or reuniting with a traveller returning home, or it could
mean marriage for an unwed person. Wearing a stately apparel in a dream
means honor and dignity. Wearing a soldier’s uniform in a dream means war.
Wearing a scholar’s robe or a teacher’s vest in a dream means studying to become
a learned person. Wearing an ascetic’s woolen wrap in a dream means becoming
a renunciate. Wearing a salesman’s suit in a dream means hard work or looking
for work if the suit looks expensive in the dream, for people mostly wear
expensive looking suits when they are still searching for work. Wearing a white
garment in a dream means pride, honor and dignity. Wearing silk in a dream
means strength and occupying a high rank in a business or government. If one
sees a deceased person wearing a silken garment in a dream, it means that he
is dwelling in the heavenly paradise. Wearing a garment that is adorned with
gold in a dream means victory over one’s enemy. A black garment means honor,
reign and having mastery over people. Wearing a green garment in a dream
means martyrdom. Wearing a cotton garment in a dream means following the
Prophet’s tradition (uwbp). Wearing a woolen garment in a dream means
clarity, unless if it is coarse or unfitting and in that case, it means poverty and
humiliation. Wearing a linen garment in a dream means enjoying a blessing or
a favor. Wearing a brocaded garment in a dream means receiving an important
and a revered message, rising in station, enjoying wealth or it could represent
the blessing of having a child. Wearing a robe that is trailing behind one’s feet
in a dream means rebellion and disobedience, while wearing a moderately short
coat in a dream means purity, virtues and chastity. Wearing any type of garment
in a dream means emulating the character of such people or becoming a prisoner
of war. Wearing a kufi or a headdress for prayers in a dream means atonement
for one’s sins. Wearing a jubbah or a long cloak in a dream means longevity.
Wearing an open sports jacket in a dream means ease in one’s life or financial
success. Wearing a special costume for a festival or a celebration in a dream
means prosperity and a wealth that is saved for one’s children, or it could mean
buying new merchandise for one’s shop. Wearing a military uniform in a dream
means distress, trouble or a scientific dispute. Wearing one’s traditional cos¬
tumes in a dream, or that of another community means to befriend them and

a will, or should one qualify for leadership, it means that he may be appointed
to fill such a position. Walking barefooted in a dream means dispelling distress
and portraying a good religious character. The meaning of walking in a dream
implies an expression of meekness and submissiveness before one’s Lord, and
it could mean seeking to earn one’s livelihood. Jogging in a dream means victory
over one’s enemy. Walking backward in a dream means reversing one’s decision,
cancelling a commitment, or it could represent corruption in one’s religious
practices. Strutting or prancing in a dream represents an ugly state of mind that
is coupled with evil actions. Falling down over one’s face during walking in a
dream means loss of benefits in this world and in the next. Tripping while
walking in a dream means exposure of one’s ills, and suffering the consequences
of wrongdoing. To cause someone to trip while walking in a dream means
ridiculing him, or delivering him a humiliating blow. To walk earnestly and
steadily in a dream represents one’s good intention. Travelling on foot in a
dream means facing danger. Walking while bowing one’s head in a dream means
longevity, or it could mean recovering from a long illness. Walking over the
clouds in a dream means rain. Walking with a cane in a dream means old age,
or an illness which will require the help of a cane. Hopping on one foot in a dream
means losing half of one’s wealth. Having several feet in a dream means losing
one’s sight. If the governor sees himself having many feet in a dream, it means
that he will be impeached from his office. If one sees inanimate objects such as
a tree, a rock or a mountain walking in a dream, it represents major adversities
and plagues. The movement of inanimate objects in a dream also means being
dogmatic about one’s spiritual stand. Walking like animals in a dream means
emulating ignorant people, seeking the unattainable, or being a hypocrite,
unless if the animal is permissible for food, then such style of walking means

(King; The Fourth heaven; Planet) In a dream, the sun represents a great
king, the vice-regent, a father, a prince, a commander, gold, or a beautiful
woman. If one sees himself turned into a sun in a dream, it means that he may
receive a dominion that will stretch as far as the radiance one sees in his dream.
If one sees himself holding the sun in a dream, it means that he will gain
strength and wealth that will come about through someone in the government.
If one receives the sun hanging as a necklace in a dream, it means that he will
win a seat in the senate. If he goes near the sun or sits inside it in a dream, it
means that he will acquire power, wealth and support. Should he qualify, the
stretch of his power will extend between the two horizons he sees in his dream,
or it may mean that he will acquire a knowledge coupled with fame. If one sees
that he owns the sun in a dream, it means that his words will be respected and
listened to by someone in authority. If someone in authority sees the sun looking
clear and brilliant in the dream, it means that his authority will grow, or that
he will assist someone in leadership. Otherwise, it means that he will live
happily and acquire lawful wealth. If a woman sees such a dream, it means that
she will enjoy her marriage and receive what pleases her from her husband. If
the sun rises inside one’s house in a dream, it means that he will receive an
important political appointment, or that he should be careful about his asso¬
ciation with someone in authority, or it may mean marriage. If the sun rises
inside one’s house and lights the entire house in the dream, it means that he will
receive honor, dignity, rank and fame. If a woman sees the sun rising inside her
house in a dream, it means that she will marry a wealthy person, and that her
horizon will expand. The radiance of the sun in a dream means reverence, might
and justice of the ruler of that land. If one sees the sun talking to him in a dream,
it means that he will be honored and commended by the governor. If one sees
the sun or the moon talking to him, and if he then strolls away with them in the
dream, it represents his death. If one sees the sun rising from an unusual
direction in a dream, it represents a beneficial knowledge he will acquire. If the
sun shines over one’s head and not the rest of his body in a dream, it means that
he will receive a prominent responsibility. If its rays rise to shine over his feet
and not the rest of his body in the dream, it means a farming project that brings
him prosperity and lawful earnings. If the sun discretely shines over one’s belly
and without people’s noticing it in the dream, it means that he will be struck
with leprosy. If it shines over his chest and not the balance of his body in the
dream, it means a sickness. If a woman sees that the sun has embraced her from
her neck down in a dream, it means that she will marry a person in authority
and for one night only. Should such a person divorce her the next morning, it
means that she may become a prostitute. If the sun rises from one’s open belly
in a dream, it means his death. If one sees the sun setting and himself walking
behind it, it also means death. If one sees himself walking behind the sun in a
dream, it means that he will be captured and imprisoned. If one sees the sun
turned into an old man in a dream, it means that the governor will become a
pious and God-fearing person. Otherwise, if the sun turns into a young man in
the dream, it represents his weakness. If one sees blazes of fire straying away
from the sun in a dream, it means the impeachment of some members of the
governor’s cabinet or someone from his counsel. If one sees the sun turned red
in a dream, it means corruption. If it turns yellow in the dream, it means an
illness. If it turns black in the dream, it means losses. If one seeks the sun after
it sets in a dream, it means that whatever is destined for him whether it be good
or bad has passed. If one sees the sun rising at times different than its usual
sun rising time in a dream, it means that an uprising against the government
will take place in different parts of the country. If one sees himself with the sun
in a dream and should he be working in the government, or the army, it means
that he will betray his superior, or the ruler of that land. Otherwise, it means
that his condition will deteriorate and life will turn against him. If the sun has
no rays in the dream, it means that the governor or the general of the army will lose respect.
If he is an administrator, it means that he will be dismissed from his function.
If he is a subject or an employee it means that he will lose his source
of income. If a woman sees a sun that has no rays in a dream, it means that her
husband will deprive her of her needs. If one sees the sun split in two in a dream,
it means losing one’s dominion. If one sees the sun falling down in a dream, it
means that a major calamity will befall the inhabitants of the earth. If it falls
over the earth in the dream, it means the death of one’s father. Gazing at the
sun in a dream means gaining authority and dominion, or presiding over the
people of one’s locality. If a traveller sees the sun too bright in a dream, it means
that he will return home safely. If one sees the sun rising from the East and
setting in the West with a clear brightness in a dream, it means blessings for
that land. If one swallows the sun in a dream, it means distress, sorrow or death.
If the sun rises from the West, then it means defamation, exposing the ills of the
person seeing it, or divulging a secret. The rising of the sun from the West also
means recovering from an illness, and for a businessman, it means profits from
that direction, but in general, it may mean revealing a secret, or it could mean
a scandal or death. The same interpretation is given if one sees the sun rising
from the South to set in the North. If the sun changes its nature in a dream, it
means trouble in that land. If one sits under the sun in a dream, it means that
he will receive honor and blessed profits. Grabbing some rays of the sun in a
dream means receiving undiminishing wealth. The sunrise in a dream also
means waking people up to go to work, seeking one’s livelihood, begetting a son,
or releasing a prisoner. If one is hiding something, then seeing the sun in his
dream means that his secret will be exposed. If one sees the rays of the sun
falling over his bed or threatening him in a dream, it means a painful sickness,
or inflammation of the skin. If the sun rays which are falling over his bed provide
him with good energy in the dream, it means a good harvest, or good health. If
travellers see many suns in the sky in a dream, it means profits and prosperity.
Running away from the sun in a dream means that one may leave his wife, or
he may run away from the governor of that land, or escape from an evil. If the
sun and the moon meet in one’s dream, it means a royal marriage, or a marriage
between a beautiful woman and a wealthy man. Clouds covering the rays of the
sun in a dream means an illness. If one carries the sun in a bag in a dream, it
means money. The sun in a dream also could represent a wise man, or a teacher
one whose company is sought. Otherwise, the sun in a dream could represent,
the governor, one’s husband, wife, child, mother, daughter, aunt, father, or
grandfather and the above interpretations will relate to such a person. Whatever
happens to the sun in the dream, will then affect such people. If one sees the sun
rising, then immediately setting in the same direction in a dream, it means a
newborn who may die shortly after his birth, returning an ex-prisoner to jail
shortly after his release, earning amazing amounts of money, or repenting from
sin, reverting to wrongdoing, the return of a bride to her parent’s house
immediately after her wedding night, or it could mean reconciliation between
husband and wife. If one sees the sun and the moon shinning on him in a dream,
it means that his parents are pleased with him. If one sees himself prostrating
to the sun or the moon in a dream, it means that he will commit an awful sin,
or a heinous crime. In a dream, the sun also represents one’s livelihood,
earnings, spiritual guidance, following the truth, new garments, or recovering
from a serious illness. Seeingmany suns in the sky in a dream means the spread
of religious innovations. If the brightness of the sun grows beyond normal to
become unbearable in the dream, it means adversities. Eating up the sun in a
dream means benefiting from its services and prospering from its rays, or that
one may become a man of knowledge, a scholar, an astrologer, or a fortuneteller.
If the rays of the sun cause burns to someone in a dream, it means that he will fall
in love with a beautiful face, or perhaps he will be hurt by someone he adores,
or it could mean loss of spiritual direction, or it could be a severe warning about
a woman he loves. If a woman sees herself carrying the sun in a dream, it means
that she will find a husband, or bear a son. If one sees the sun talking to him
in a dream, it means that he will discover a mystery or acquire knowledge about
spirits, or he could become a translator, an analyst, or a consultant. Seeing the
sun, the moon and the stars together in a dream denotes adversities, jealousy
on the part of one’s own family, or they could denote fear. If the rays of the sun
burns the crop in a dream, it means a devastation and a plague or rising prices.

(Knowledge; Town; Village) Entering a city in a dream means appeasement
of one’s fears. Imam Ibn Seerin use to prefer entering the city in a dream rather
than leaving it. A city in a dream also represents a learned person, a wise man
and a scholar. If one enters a city and finds it in ruins in his dream, it means
that the learned people of that city no longer live there. It is said that seeing a
city in a dream means the death of its ruler or an unjust governor from that
place. Seeing a city being built in a dream signifies the growing number of its
learned people and represents children who will continue the path of their
fathers. Seeing a city with no governor in a dream means rising prices. An
unknown city in a dream represents the hereafter, while a known city represents
the world. Seeing oneself in an unknown city in a dream is also a sign of
righteousness. The best of cities in a dream are the large ones. One’s home town
in a dream represents his father, while one’s homeland in a dream represents
his mother. Seeing oneself in a northern city in a dream mean increase of one’s
cash flow. Seeing oneself in a southern city means increase in one’s trickery and
deception. Seeing oneself in a low plateau in a dream means difficulties and
trouble, while seeing oneself in a high plateau means trustworthiness and
truthfulness. Seeing oneself in Egypt in a dream means longevity and a
comfortable living. Seeing oneself in a farmland in a dream means pursuing
innovation. Seeing oneself in a bower in a dream signifies the coming of a
prosperous year. Seeing oneself in Jerusalem or at the feet of Mount Sinai in a
dream also means prosperity. Seeing oneself in Bethlehem in a dream means
increased religious devotion. Seeing oneself in Damascus in a dream means
blessings, prosperity and wealth, or it could mean corruption. A cold city in a
dream represents adversities. Seeing oneself in a shore city in a dream means
winning people’s acceptance. Standing on a sulfuric soil or a salinized soil in a
dream means an illness. Seeing oneself in a large and populated city in a dream
means prosperity and wealth. Entering a city in a dream also means making
peace between people. Driving through an unknown section of a city in a dream
means losses. Entering an old city that is rebuilt and restored in a dream means
that a great and a pious person will be born in that city and he will grow to guide
its people on the path of righteousness. A city in a dream also signifies an oath,
meeting with one’s beloveds, peace, tranquility and safety. Meeting with God¬
fearing people in a dream means attaining one’s goals and receiving glad
tidings. Seeing the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in a dream means adversities,
earthquake, fear and corruption. Seeing a city in a dream also could mean
repentance from sin. A province in a dream represents its governor or renowned
scholars. Governing a city in a dream means rising to a suitable position, getting
married, recovering from an illness, repenting from sin, or receiving guidance
at the hand of a learned shaikh. Seeing a deceased person walking alive in a city
in a dream perhaps means that he is in paradise enjoying its blessings. Seeing
a deceased person in a village in a dream means that he might be in hell laboring
with its people. A city in a dream also represents the entertainment it provides
for its dwellers. The name of a city one sees in a dream should reflect some of
the meanings of one’s dream. (See Introduction). The industry of a city also has
a share in the dream interpretation. Known cities in the world in a dream
represent their rulers. Entering a city one already knows in a dream means that
one will not die until he enters it again, or it could mean that he will receive news
from that city. The walls of a city represent a strong ruler. A demolished wall

Shroud
(Wrap) A shroud in a dream means covering one’s private parts, or it could
mean having a secret affair, concealing one’s action while displaying a deceptive
appearance, or it could mean marriage with an incompatible spouse. Wearing
a shroud in a dream also may mean earning money from adultery. If one sees
a shroud and does not wear it in his dream, it means that he will be lured to
engage in adultery, though he will abstain. Being wrapped in a shroud like a
dead person in a dream means one’s death. If one’s head and feet are still
uncovered in the dream, it represents his religious failure and corruption. The
smaller is the wrap shrouding the deceased in a dream, the closer he is to
repentance and the larger is the wrap and more complete is his preparation for

Flying in a dream means travels. If one sees himself flying lying on his
back, then it means comfort. Flying for other than a traveller means joblessness.
Flying from one roof into another in a dream means changing from a man of
dignity into a man who has no moral standards. In a dream, a roof also
represents a woman or a wife. In this sense, flying bet ween two roofs could mean
having a mistress beside one’s wife. If a woman sees herself flying from her
house into the house of a man she knows in the dream, it means that she will
marry him. Flying from a known abode into a distant and unknown abode in a
dream means death. If a prisoner sees himself flying in a dream, it means that
he will be released from jail. Flying with wings in a dream also means travels,
and flying without wings means changes in one’s status or conditions. If a
foreigner sees himself flying in a dream, it means that he will return to his
homeland, or it could mean that he travels excessively. If one who has pride and
exaggerated hopes sees himself flying in a dream, then his dream represents
mere hallucination. If one sees himself in a dream flying in a race with someone
else, and if he wins the race, it means that he will conquer his opponent and rise
above him in station. Flying over a mountain in a dream means power and
sovereignty. If one who qualifies for leadership sees himself flying in a dream,
it means that he will attain a leadership position. If he falls over something in
the dream, it means that he will own or control whatever he falls into. If one does
not qualify for leadership and sees himself flying in a dream, it represents
pitfalls in his religious performances, or it could mean falling sick. If one does
attain his intended destination in the dream, then his dream connotes a
successful journey. If one flies in his dream and disappears beyond sight, it
means his death. If one flies from his own house into an unknown house in the
dream, the latter house represents his grave. Flying in a dream also represent
a sickness that could lead a person near his death before he could recover from
it. If one flies from a low elevation into a higher one and without wings in his
dream, it means fulfillment of his aspirations. If one soars in the air like a pigeon
in a dream and sees people below him, whereby he can benefit or harm
whomever he wants, it means that he will preside over people and reach a rank
of honor and dignity. If one becomes tired during his flight between tow cities
or places and finds himself incapable of benefiting or harming anyone, and if he
seeks nothing from his flight but is still happy about flying in the dream, it
means that he is trying to find money for his personal needs or business. If one
sees himself flying from one land into another in a dream, it means that he will
attain honor, power, comfort and satisfaction. If one sees himself flying hori¬
zontally in the dream, it means that his wife will straighten her act and without
much effort on his part. If one sees himself flying vertically with his head up and
his feet pointing to the ground in the dream, it means that he will receive
benefits. The more he rises, the greater are his benefits. If rich people or
craftsmen see that dream, it represents a leadership position they could occupy.
If a foreigner sees that in a dream, it means that he will return to his mother
land, or it could mean that he will never return to his homeland again. Flying

without wings in a dream means fears and hardships. Flying over people’s
homes and over the streets in a dream means difficulties and disturbances.

dream means taking a short trip. If one sees himself flying at will and ceasing
to fly at will in a dream, it means easing of his burdens and expectation of great
benefits to come his way. Seeing oneself in a dream flying upside-down means
evil happening. If a sick person sees himself flying in the air in a dream, it means
that he will die from his illness. If one sees himself laying over his bed and flying
with it in a dream, it means a severe illness or an ailment that will strike at his
legs. Enjoying flying between the sky and the earth in a dream means having
exaggerated hopes. Flying in a dream also means seeking a destructive knowl¬
edge, or pursuing an evil idea, or associating with villainous and notorious
people, or it could mean being in a hurry, or that one takes lightly a serious
project, then fails to accomplish it because of his angry character. Flying in a

If a person sees his hands tattooed with henna in a dream, it means that
he cheats to earn his livelihood, or that he tricks others to get what he needs.
Consequently, he will be exposed and his enemy will rejoice at his misfortune.

someone to repossess her rightfully owned jewelry. If the tattoo is made with
gold in the dream, it means performing an old but a polite trick. If the tattoo is

Earthquake
In a dream, an earthquake represents fear of a higher authority. An
earthquake in a dream is also interpreted to indicate major changes in that
particular place, or a calamity that will befall a town or a country. If one sees
the mountains rumbling, shaking and crumbling, then being restored to their
original state in a dream, it means that a great happening will devastate such
a place. If one sees the earth shaking or caving in, and if everything sinks into
the ground, hitting a segment of the community and sparing another segment
of it in the dream, it means that a calamity will befall that place, and it will
manifest through social disorder, injustices or a plague. If one sees the earth
shaking and the firmament rent asunder in a dream, it means that major
adversities will hit their properties, cattle, farms and institutions, etcetera, as
a divine chastisement for people’s sins. If one sees the earth moving under his
feet in a dream, then it represents one’s striving and pursuit of his business
needs or livelihood. An earthquake in a dream also represents exposing secrets,
hearing bad news, a general scare, public disturbances, the surfacing of new
diseases. If one sees the walls crumbling and caving in a dream, it means his
death. Seeing an earthquake in an arable land in a dream means fertility or a
good harvest. An earthquake in a dream also may mean travels, dancing,
abstraction of business or having an argument with one’s family. If the destruc¬
tion hits the buildings in urban areas in the dream, it means business growth
for construction workers, contractors or related industries. Seeing an earthquake
hitting a fruit farm in a dream means a good harvest. If the quake takes place
during the month of May, it means a fierce battle, fights between people or
public disorder. If one’s dream takes place during the month of June, then it
means destruction of evil trades and their people. If the dream takes place
during the daylight time, then it means appointment of people of knowledge to
leading positions in the government. If one dreams of an earthquake during the
month of July, it means that a great person will die in that place. If it takes place
during the month of August, it means that an enemy will attack that country.
If it takes place during the month of September in the dream, it means that
a stranger will enter that town and subsequently, the town will be hit with a
severe plague and sufferings. If it takes place during the month of October in
one’s dream, then it represents a common illness, safety of pregnant women and

of December in a dream, then it represents severe calamities, plagues and

Blood
In a dream, blood represents unlawful or illegal money, or an evil act that
will emanate from the person seeing the dream. If one sees himself dragging his
feet through puddles of blood in a dream, it means that he will finance his
business from unlawfully earned money, profit from an illegal business or
commit a major sin then be caught. If one sees blood staining his shirt in a
dream, it means that someone will lie to him, though he will not recognize it.
If his shirt is stained with blood or pus from pimples in a dream, it means that
a thief will lie to him. If his shirt is stained with the blood of a lion in a dream,
it means that an iniquitous person in authority will lie to him and take
advantage of him. If his shirt is stained with the blood of a ram in a dream, it
means that a rich, noble and a well respected person will lie to him, and at the
end he will consent to accepting corrupt money. Seeing blood flowing from one’s
body or from wounds is a sign of good health, safety, or it could mean coming
home after a long journey. Drinking human blood in a dream means money,
profits, escape from danger, safety from trials and adversities, or it could mean
committing a sin then repenting from it. Falling into a pool of blood in a dream
means that one will be accused of a murder or of stealing money. If one sees a
valley filled with blood in a dream, it means that he maybe killed in that locality.
If one sees blood emanating out of his body without cupping or cuts in a dream,
it means giving money to someone. If he is a poor person, then it means receiving
money from someone. If one sees himself falling into a cistern which is filled with
blood in a dream, it means that someone is seeking revenge from him. Blood in
a jar represents a woman in menstruation. Blood in a dream also represents
one’s life, strength, wealth, business, helpers, clothing, earning praise or blame,
weak points, unlawful food, lack of benefits, loss of business or money or esteem,
inability to draw benefits from one’s usual close ones, such as a father, a son,
or a business partner, separation through death from one’s beloveds or dear
one’s, such as wife or a kin. One’s blood in a dream also represents his own Satan,
or an enemy that dwells inside his house. Drinking one’s own blood in a dream
means paying one’s debts with second loan, or vanquishing one’s enemy.
Bleeding naturally in a dream means peace and comfort. Excess bleeding in a
dream means the opposite. The bleeding of an unwed woman means finding a
husband. Bleeding of a pregnant woman in a dream means a miscarriage and
for an elderly woman, bleeding means an illness. If one sees blood coming from
his anus in a dream, it means that he is tainted with the consequences of an evil
act, or it could mean a bad deal, or that he has earned unlawful money then
walked out of such a deal. To bleed in a dream also means being a spendthrift,
a money wasting family, or it could mean suffering from a venereal disease.

In a dream, feet represent man’s uprightness, for with them one stands
erect. If anything happens to one’s feet in a dream, it will reflect on his financial
standing, work, toiling, his boss or his delegations. If one sees his feet pointing
toward the heavens in a dream, it could denote the death of his child. If one’s
feet turn green, it means that he will suffer business losses. If one sees himself
committing loathsome sexual acts with his feet in a dream, it means that he will
pursue an unlawful sexual intercourse. Walking bear footed in a dream means
toiling in life, difficulties and fatigue. If one sees himself eating the foot of
another human being in a dream, it means that he will become a close friend
with him, acquire his intercession, reap success from his connection, fulfill his
needs, receive benefits in his travels, or if he qualifies, he may preside over a
group of poor people or guide seamen to their catch. If he is a poor person, it
means that his benefits to others are greater than if he were a rich person. If
a rich man sees himself eating the foot of another person in a dream, it means
illness, weakness or blindness. As for evildoers, eating someone’s foot in a dream
means imprisonment, sorrow and blame. If one sees one ofhis feet turning into
a stone, it means that he will be deprived of its use. If one steps over a king or
a ruler in a dream, it means that he will step over a coin of money that carries
the figure of such a ruler. If one’s foot is amputated in a dream, it means that
he will loose half ofhis wealth. If both his feet are amputated in the dream, it
means that he will lose all ofhis wealth, or that he may die shortly. One’s feet
in a dream also represent his parents or the leaders of the land. If one’s foot is
fractured in a dream, it means that he should not near the people of authorities
for some days or he better leave town for sometime and pray for his safety. If
a sick person sees his foot broken in a dream, it may mean his death. If one sees
one ofhis feet longer than the other in a dream, it means that he will travel and
profit from his journey, or receive the needed help during his journey. If he is
rich, it means that he will become sick. If a poor person sees himself having four
legs in a dream, it means that he will travel and receive help to accomplish his
goals. A rich person in that case may get sick, or it could mean longevity.
Walking on three feet in a dream means either that one will grow to be old, or
that through an ailment, he will not die until he uses a cane to help him walk.
If a ruler or a judge sees himself having many legs in a dream, it means that
he has many helpers. If one’s feet turn into iron in a dream, it means longevity
and prosperity. If they turn into glass in a dream, it means that he will live a
short life and suffer a debilitating illness. If they turn gold in the dream, it
means that he will use them to seek a lost property or a desired wealth. If they
turn silver in the dream, it means that he is a philanderer and he will live in
poverty, for lust for women and wealth cannot exist together. If one’s feet turn
into led in the dream, it means that he may suffer from paralysis, unless if the
dream contains other elements that denote actions which are pleasing to God
Almighty. If one sees his foot without a covering skin in the dream, it means
longevity. In a dream, one’s toes represent good deeds. Experiencing foot pain
