(Animal; Carrier; Mount; Vehicle) A vehicle in a dream represents care,
concern, attaining one’s purpose, or it could mean reaching one’s destination
through striving and hard work. To ride an animal in a dream means following
one’s desires and passions. However, to be carried by any animal, or by any type
of vehicle in a dream is a sign of honor and authority. Riding a horse one cannot
control in a dream means following one’s passions and wantonness. If one is able
to adequately tame his horse and control it in the dream, it means that he will
be saved from adversities. Riding an elaborately dressed horse for a parade,
being surrounded by servants and an entourage in the dream means receiving
an inheritance, or it could mean becoming the guardian of an estate one will
inherit in a short while. Riding over the shoulder of another man and forcing
him to accept it in a dream represents one’s funeral, and it means that the other
person will have no choice but to carry the coffin. If the person carrying him in
the dream is willingly doing so, then it means that he will care for his needs and
bear his encumbrance. Riding over someone’s shoulders in a dream also means
facing an major adversity. Should he meanwhile fall down in the dream, it
means that such a trial will not take place. If one sees himself riding over
someone’s shoulder backward in a dream, it means that he does not accept any

(Army) In a dream, ants represent weak and covetous people, an army, a
family, or longevity. Seeing a colony of ants entering a city in a dream means
that an army will occupy that city. A colony of ants in a dream also represents
a heavy populated area. Seeing ants over one’s bed in a dream means having
many children. If ants leave one’s house in a dream, it means that someone in
the family will leave that house. If there is a sick person in a house and one sees
ants flying in a dream, it means the death of such a person. Ants leaving their
colony in a dream means dying away of the population in that area, or that such
a town may become a ghost town. Seeing ants leaving their nest in a dream also
means adversities or distress. Though in this case, they represent the small and
hard working people. If a sick person sees ants walking over his body in a dream,
it means his death. Flying ants in a dream also mean hardships during a
journey. Seeing winged ants in a dream means a war and destruction of a large
army. Ants in a dream also may signify prosperity. They also represent the
person seeing the dream or members of his family or relatives. Understanding

(Artist; Illustrator) In a dream, a painter represents knowledge, archi¬
tecture, wisdom, writing poems, writing love songs or telling lies. A painter in
a dream also represents someone who conceals his acts, or hides his true face.
He also could represent alcoholism, falling in love, marriage, or having children.
Some of the painter’s works are beneficial while others are harmful. All
depending on the quality of his work, its objectives, balance, resemblance to the
object painted and authenticity. The characteristics of such a person in the
dream may be that of a hypocrite in wakefulness, or an ostentatious person, a
toadying person, a hypocrite, a panegyrist, or a lauding person, though he
mostly looks as a good, sincere and a hard working person. The value of his

plague, injustice, or a drought will befall the people of that locality. Salt in a
dream also signifies hard work, or an illness. Table salt in a dream also means
asceticism, renunciation and detachment from the material world. It also means
blessings, honesty and comfort. Eating bread with salt in a dream means
contentment with little from this world. A salt shaker in a dream represents a

represents his innermost thoughts that will eventually show in his attitude in
life. If one’s thoughts are good, then it will show, and if they are evil, they will
also manifest. If one wears a slipper over his head and a turban in his foot in
a dream, it means that he is carrying trouble. Depending on its type and name,
a garment in a dream could represent a man or a woman. Wearing a new
garment in a dream is better than seeing an old one. If a man sees himself
wearing a woman’s apparel in a dream, it means that he is a bachelor. If a woman
sees herself wearing a man’s garment in a dream, it means that she is
unmarried. Wearing a tightly buttoned shirt in a dream means experiencing
tight circumstances or reuniting with a traveller returning home, or it could
mean marriage for an unwed person. Wearing a stately apparel in a dream
means honor and dignity. Wearing a soldier’s uniform in a dream means war.
Wearing a scholar’s robe or a teacher’s vest in a dream means studying to become
a learned person. Wearing an ascetic’s woolen wrap in a dream means becoming
a renunciate. Wearing a salesman’s suit in a dream means hard work or looking
for work if the suit looks expensive in the dream, for people mostly wear
expensive looking suits when they are still searching for work. Wearing a white
garment in a dream means pride, honor and dignity. Wearing silk in a dream

is dwelling in the heavenly paradise. Wearing a garment that is adorned with
gold in a dream means victory over one’s enemy. A black garment means honor,

clarity, unless if it is coarse or unfitting and in that case, it means poverty and

a favor. Wearing a brocaded garment in a dream means receiving an important
and a revered message, rising in station, enjoying wealth or it could represent
the blessing of having a child. Wearing a robe that is trailing behind one’s feet
in a dream means rebellion and disobedience, while wearing a moderately short
coat in a dream means purity, virtues and chastity. Wearing any type of garment
in a dream means emulating the character of such people or becoming a prisoner
of war. Wearing a kufi or a headdress for prayers in a dream means atonement
for one’s sins. Wearing a jubbah or a long cloak in a dream means longevity.
Wearing an open sports jacket in a dream means ease in one’s life or financial

(Flour; Moving around in a circle) In a dream, a miller represents a selfish
person who is particularly interested in acquiring worldly gains and at what¬
ever price it may cost. If one sees an old man being a miller in a dream, the old
man here represents his grandfather, or one’s bosom friend and consequently
one will prosper and become extremely wealthy from his business. If the miller
is a young and a strong man in the dream, then he represents a strong helper.
A bakery miller in a dream means that one will attain his own goals through
hard work. If one sees himself grinding a sufficient quantity of wheat for two,
three, or four people in a dream, it means that he labors for his own need and
can barely provide for his family. If the miller is a young man who has gray hair
in the dream, then he represents both prosperity and strength. Seeing a miller
in a dream also means adversities, fights, a spendthrift, usury, or a hard

money, or defrauding them of their assets. If one sees himself laboring in a
dream, it means thriftiness, discretion, or virtuous along with satisfaction and
ease in one’s life. Laboring in a dream also means a misfortune or one’s peril.

Fireplace
(Hearth; Stove) An iron cast stove or a fireplace in a dream represents
a woman who comes from a powerful and a strong family. If the stove or the
fireplace is made from yellow copper or brass in the dream, then such a woman
may have come from a house of a worldly and rich people. A wooden fireplace
in a dream represents hypocrisy in such a family. If the fireplace is made of
plaster in the dream, it means that such a family has associated itself with
Pharaonic traditions or worship. If the fireplace is made of argillite or form sun-
dried bricks in the dream, it means that someone in that family is a godly and
a pious person. A fireplace in a dream also represents a state, a government,
joblessness or fleeing from one’s enemy. If the fireplace or the stove is lit with
no food to cook or water to boil over it in the dream, it means that the head of
the household, the butler or the house keeper will become angry and infuriated
by someone’s slander or backbiting. If the cooking pot in the dream is interpreted
to represent the wife, then the fireplace would represent her husband who faces
the adversities and hardships of life. On the other hand, if the fireplace in the
dream is interpreted to represent the wife, then the cooking pot would be her
husband who is always sitting on fire. If the fireplace or the stove is not lit in
the dream, then it represents distress, worries and trouble, but if it is on, then
it means fulfilling one’s needs and earning one’s livelihood through hard work.
A fireplace in a dream also represents one’s wife, his tools and instruments, his
vehicle, or it could represent a place of gathering, one’s rank, a chair, light, a
woman in childbed, a father, a mother, a pregnant woman, one’s shop or a
helper. A fireplace in a dream also could represent the month of January or the
cold season. If a bachelor sees a fireplace in a dream, it means that he will get
married, and if he is married, it means that his wife will become pregnant. If
he is a sinner, it means that he will repent for his sins, for a fireplace is the abode

(Little boy) In a dream, a child carried in one’s arms means responsibility,
distress and difficulties. A teenage child represents glad tidings or dispelling
one’s worries. If one sees a beautiful looking teenage child entering a town or
descending from the skies or appearing from beneath the ground in a dream, it
means that the glad tidings will take effect shortly. Seeing a mature child in a
dream means power and superiority. If one sees himself as a child learning in
school in a dream, it means that he will repent of a common sin he is used to
commit. If one sees one of the renowned people of knowledge sitting in a
kindergarten and learning along with other children in a dream, it means that
he will shift to ignorance, lose his rank, or that financial changes will affect his
living conditions. If one sees himself receiving instructions like a child in a
dream, it means that he will receive an inheritance from his mother. If one sees
himself as a newborn child in a dream, it means that he will become wealthy
and prosper. If a young boy sees himself in a dream as a child, it has a negative
meaning. If a sick person sees himself as a child in a dream, it means his death.
If one sees himself as a child being reprimanded in a dream, it means that he
will be conquered. In a dream, if one looks in a mirror and sees his face to be
that of a child, and if his wife is pregnant, it means that she will beget a son who
will look like his father. Carrying a baby child in a dream means distress and
burdens. A child in a dream represents a weak enemy who sometime shows
friendliness and at other times demonstrates his enmity. If one sees that his wife
has just delivered children who are playing around him in a dream, it means
distress or misfortune and the consequences could be either good or bad.
Carrying a child in a dream means managing an inheritance or a financial
investment. If an elderly person sees himself roaming as a little child in a dream,
it means that he will commit an act of ignorance or lose his dignity, ideals or
sense of honor. On the other hand, if such an elderly person who sees himself
in a dream as a little child is suffering from depression or financial difficulties
or health problems, then it means relief from distress and good health and that
he will become free from his sins, like the day his mother gave birth to him. If
one sees that he has a little child who disdains from coming near his father in
the dream, it means financial promotion and enjoyment of one’s life. If one sees
a little child screaming in his lap in a dream, it means that he plays a string
instrument. Children in a dream also could mean either sorrow and pain or
happiness and joy. If they are one’s own children in the dream, then they mean
temptation with money. Children in a dream also could mean contentment with
little or loss of one’s means to earn his livelihood or they could mean money or
marriage or a flourishing business. Bereavement of a child in a dream means
the opposite in real life. It also means rejoicing, reunions, pleasures and earning
respect. Bereavement of a child in a dream is sometimes interpreted to portray
an intention of one’s children or wife to separate from the family. A little male
child in a dream represents worries, responsibilities, hard work, catering to
ignorant people or dealing with trivial and time wasting people. If a prisoner
sees himself carrying a little girl in his dream, it means that he will be released
from his prison. If one who is going through hard times sees himself holding a
little girl in a dream, it means that his adversities will be lifted. If he is poor,

(Stone) Mountain rocks in a dream represent strong believers who hold
fast to their religious duties. If one sees himself trying to lift a heavy rock,
testing his strength in a dream, it means that he will face a strong opponent.
If he succeeds at lifting it in the dream, it means that he will win his battle.
Otherwise, it could mean that he will lose it. If one sees stones hitting him, or
falling over his head in a dream, it means that his superior will delegate heavy
responsibilities to him, compel him to do a personal favor, depend on him or
impose a service on him. In this case, it means that one’s advice will have effect
and his opinion will be respected. Throwing stones in every direction from a high
altitude in a dream means being unjust toward others, or it could mean being
in a position of strength. If one sees women throwing stones at him using a
slingshot in a dream, it means sorcery and a bad spell. If a poor person sees
himself hitting a rock with a staff to split it, and suddenly water gushes forth
from it in the dream, it means that he will become rich. A rock in a dream also
represents hard working women who are patient and bearing their sufferings
with determination. A rock in a dream also means longevity, construction,
forgetfulness, cattle, impudence, shamelessness, fornication, a dissolute life,
immorality, or heartlessness. Seeing a town scattered with rocks in a dream also
could mean lower prices. If a rock is interpreted as a rank, then it means a
lasting one. If it denotes one’s wife, then it means that she is patient and content.
A rock in a dream also represents a threshold, a house, or a statue. Seeing a
mountain of rocks in a dream represents heartless, brutal and cruel men, or it
could denote their dwellings. If one sees himself drilling a hole into a rock in a
dream, it means that he is searching for something hard to get, though he will
be able to reach as far as he reaches through drilling in his dream. Descending

In a dream, a fishing net represents trickery, deception, profits,
knowledge, realizing one’s hope, and victory over one’s enemies if one owns a
fishing net. If one sees himself entrapped inside a fishing net, it means that he
may be jailed or fall to sickness or marry a rebellious wife, or it could mean
money, or a child that will preoccupy him. A fishing net in a dream also
represents a harsh employer, hard working laborers, or an adversity they may
suffer. As for a clear minded fisherman who earns his livelihood from a fishing
net, seeing a fishing net in a dream represents trials, imprisonment, short
breath, or it could mean profits or good news. As for a traveller, seeing a fishing
net in his dream means his return home. A fishing net in a dream also means
increasing difficulties for a worried person. If one who has lost something sees
a fishing net in his dream, it means that he will find his lost object.

compilers, striving hard or collecting taxes. Bees in a dream also represent a
