(Betting; Gambling) Casting lots in a dream or betting means
adversities, rebukes, reprimands or exaggeration. If one wins a bet in a dream,
it means that he will overcome his opponent. If one loses the bet to his
counterpart in the dream, it means that he may suffer from a life imprisonment.

Censure
(Blame; Calumniation; Rebuke; Reprimand; Reproof) If one sees himself
censured by a prophet, a saint, a godly person, or a bosom friend in a dream, it
means repentance from sin, refraining from walking the avenues of error and
temptation. Censure in a dream also signifies love and compassion. If one
rebukes himself in a dream, it means that he had indulged in a wrongdoing
which he regrets and that he is blaming himself for it. (Also see Blame)

Beating
(Blow; Hit; Lash; Whip) To hit someone with a staff in a dream means
bringing back to life something that died away or investigating the cause of a
death or clarifying something. To beat someone with a wooden stick in a dream
means failing to fulfill a promise, or it could mean lying to someone. If someone
in authority hits his employee in a dream, it means that he will give him a raise.
If he hits him on his back in the dream, it means that he will pay his debt. If
he hits him on his backside in the dream, it means that he will give him a
daughter in marriage. If one hits someone head with a stick in a dream, it means that he desires his position or it may denote his jealousy. If one hits someone
between the eyes in a dream, it means that he wants him to get lost. Beating
someone in a dream also means to rebuke, revile or insult him, or it could mean
to admonish him. Beating someone over his scull in a dream means that the
victim in the dream will attain excellence of expression and reach his goals. If
he hits him over the earlobe and if it bleeds in the dream, it means that the
assailant will rape and deflower the daughter of the victim. Like that, interpreting
the subject of beating must be associated with the meaning of the limb affected
in the dream. (See Body 1), Beatings in a dream also connotes supplications. If
one sees himself beating a donkey in a dream, it means that he does not earn
his daily bread unless he regularly prays for it. To beat someone in a dream also
means cursing him. If he hits him over the head in the dream, it means speaking
ill of him and that one cannot retrieve his words or apologize for them. Beating
a family member in a dream means that one's wife is committing adultery.
Beating someone in a dream also means benefiting him, or it could mean
business losses. If one is beaten in a dream, it means profits and benefits, unless
if the one beating him is an angel, or a deceased person, or a member of his
family. Beating someone with a leather belt or with a cane in a dream means
bad consequences in wakefulness. Hitting the floor in a dream means taking a
trip. If one receives one hundred lashes on his back in a dream, it means that
he has committed adultery, or it could mean that he has the intention to do so.
If one receives forty lashes in a dream, it means that he indulges in drinking
alcohol or uses intoxicants. If he is lashed eighty times in a dream, it means that
he slanders married women. If he is whipped by a deceased person in the dream,
it means that he is pursuing wrong ideas and should reverse his course, for a
deceased person dwells in the kingdom of truth and follows only what pleased
God Almighty. However, if one sees himself in a dream beating a deceased
person, this could be interpreted to denote the strength of his faith, certitude,
prayers and charitable nature. It also could mean benefits from a business trip
or pursuing a lost interest. Beating in a dream when it causes no pain, bleeding
or scratches means receiving a new garment, paying debts, or hearing sarcastic
comments. Beating an animal in a dream means either training him, or it could
mean ignorance and being unfair toward such an animal.

Blame
(Censure; Rebuke; Reprimand; Reproof) Blame in a dream signifies
pursuing Satan in his evil actions and it means failing one’s promise. Blaming
oneself in a dream means doubt, disturbance and confusion for which one will
be rebuked. He will then be relieved to pursue his enemy, to overcome him and
become free from people’s reproach. Blaming someone in a dream, means the
same in wakefulness, and consequently, one will suffer from people blaming
him. If one sees people showering him with money in a dream, it means that they
are speaking ill of him or blaming him. If one sees people praising him in a
dream, it also means that he is praiseworthy and does good. (Also see Censure)
Blanket: (Bed cover; Cover; Lioncloth; Mexican blanket; Overlay; Overspread) In
a dream, a blanket represents a woman. If one sees himself wearing a blanket
over a wrapper, or a lioncloth in a dream, it means marriage. If he sees a blanket
made of pearls in a dream, it means that his wife is a pious woman. Wrapping
oneself with a blanket in a dream means marriage, comfort, peace, tranquility
and strength. Wrapping oneself with a red blanket in a dream means a fight
because of a woman. If a blanket is stolen or burned or taken away from someone
in his dream, it means divorce or death of his wife.

Flies
(Insect) In a dream, a fly represents a weak, lowly and a slanderous person.
If he ever benefits anyone, it will be someone of his own kind. Eating flies in a
dream means earning loathsome money. Seeing flies ruminating inside one’s
stomach in a dream means earning money from a loathsome and a despicable
man. Seeing flies inside one’s body in a dream means mixing with loathsome
people. Whatever profits one may gain through them will not last. A large size
fly in a dream represents a great enemy who will bring harm to the people and
to the economy of the land. Flies flying over one’s head in a dream represent a
weak enemy who is desiring to triumph over him. It could also mean that
someone in a high ranking position is influencing their moves or forcing them
to do what he wants. If someone who intends a journey sees flies sitting on him
in a dream, perhaps he should delay his travel plans for while. If one sees flies
inside his mouth in a dream, it means that some thieves will take refuge or hide
in his house. If a fly or a mosquito enters one’s ear in a dream, it denotes blessing,
status, authority or profits. Killing a fly in a dream means preserving one’s
health and fitness. If one sees a swarm of flies inside his house in a dream, it
means that his enemies will cause him losses. Flies are a weak but a tough
enemy. In a dream, a gathering of flies somewhere means profits, medicine,
cure, abominable actions or committing an act that will bring rebuke.

Firewood
Firewood in a dream means slander and backbiting. If one puts two or
three logs to burn in the fire in a dream, it means that an argument will take
place or that an exchange of rough words will grow beyond one’s control. If a
religious person sees timber in his dream, it means that he will commits a major
sin such as theft, murder, or adultery, he will then be caught and put to justice.
If anyone kindles a fire in a dream, it means that he will report someone to the
authorities. Carrying firewood in a dream means exchanging harsh words,
slander, rebuke or calumniation. Seeing timber in one’s house also means
profits, fulfilling needs, inheritance or endowments. If the timber needs cutting
in the dream, it means earnings that involve great efforts, or earnings that bring
about evil. If the timber is already cut for the fireplace in the dream, it
represents a person who is favored by someone in authority, or it could mean
business success. Firewood in a dream also means adversities or stinginess.
Wrapped firewood in a bundle means mixed profits. If an unemployed person
sees himself carrying a bundle of firewood in a dream, it means that he will work
for a generous person. Gathering firewood in a dream means bringing medicine
for a sick person. Attributing the firewood to its mother tree or distinguishing
its fruit in the dream means money of a doubtful source. Offering timber to burn
in a religious ceremony in a dream means nearness to one’s Lord, or it could
mean offering a gift to one’s teacher, bringing a culpable before a judge, or
bringing a sick person to the doctor. In this case, if the timber burns before
putting it in the fire, it means that the gift was accepted, or that a guilty person
will receive a just verdict. Eating timber in a dream means earning unlawful
money. A tree stump or a log in a dream means a chronic illness or paralysis.

Gray hair
For young people, gray hair in a dream means dignity and it could mean
longevity, weakness or poverty. If gray hair grows in one’s beard and head in
the dream, it means poverty. Seeing half gray hair mixed with one’s beard in
a dream means strength, dignity and honor. If one’s wife is pregnant, and if he
sees his hair turned gray in the dream, it means that she will beget a son. If one
sees himself plucking out gray hair from his beard in a dream, it means that he
respects the elderly people and honor religious scholars. If a woman sees her
hair turned gray in a dream, it means the arrival of guests, or it could mean that
her husband is having a mistress. If a rich person sees his body covered with gray
hair in a dream, it means major business losses, while for a poor person it means
debts that he cannot repay. The gray hair of an unknown woman represents a
drying crop. If a soldier sees his hair gray in a dream, it means his weakness
or defeat in the battlefield. If a sick person sees his hair gray in a dream, it means
his death and shrouding. If a person is afraid of something then sees his hair
gray in a dream, it means appeasement of his fears, or amnesty given by a ruler
or a judge deciding in his favor. It is also said that woman’s gray hair in a dream
means that she will be insulted by her in-laws, or it could mean divorce. If one’s
gray hair increase, but still include some black hair in the dream, it means
dignity and reverence. If no black hair remains, then it means a rebuke or a
reprimand one will hear from his superior. If one’s black beard turns gray in a
dream, it means that he may fail in his religious life, or lose his wealth. If one
discovers two or three gray hairs in his black beard in a dream, it means that
he will beget a son or that someone he loves will return from a long journey. If
the hair of one’s chest turns gray in a dream, it means that his food will become
spoiled. Seeing one’s beard brilliantly gray and beautiful in a dream means
honor and fame throughout the lands. To pluck a gray hair in a dream also
means disrespect for the elderly. Gray hair in a dream also means poverty,
debts, pain, distance from others, being harsh with others, or imprisonment.
