represents a positive power that eliminates negative forces, or it could represent
good verses evil. Entering a fortress in a dream also could mean growing in piety
or developing ascetic detachment. Seeing a distant fortress in a dream means
travelling from one place to another and gaining fame. Taking refuge in a
fortress in a dream means victory. A fortress in a dream also means repenting
from one’s sins, or it could represent a great person. To conquer and capture a

Citadel
(Castle; Fortress; Stronghold) If a suitable person sees himself inside a
beautiful citadel in a dream, it means that he will be appointed as a leader, or
that he will he get married, have a child, buy a property, walk the path of the
believers, or repent of his sins. If one sees himself inside a citadel or a castle in
a dream, it means that he will be endowed with ascetic detachment from this
world and with piety, faith and abstinence from sin. His share will depend upon
that section of the citadel or castle where he stands in his dream. If one sees
himself wandering in a desolate region outside the castle in the dream, it means
that he will fall prey to his enemy. If one builds a castle or a citadel in his dream,
it means that he will guard himself from his enemy, protects his chastity,
property and person from adversities and humiliation. The opposite will take
effect if he sees himself demolishing such a castle or citadel. Seeing oneself
standing near the battlement in a dream, it means that he will benefit from a

Wheat
(Grains) In a dream, wheat means money well earned. Buying wheat in
a dream means increase in one’s earnings, or in the number of his children. If
one sees a ruler placing a stick and steering inside a bushel of grains in a dream,
it means rising prices. Planting wheat in a dream means doing a good deed for
God’s pleasure. Walking in wheat fields in a dream means offering a service to
God Almighty. If one plants wheat but it sprouts barley instead in a dream, it
means ostentatiousness. If it grows blood in the dream, it means that he profits
from usury. Eating green wheat in the fields from its spikes in a dream means
gaining spiritual progress through ascetic detachment. Eating cooked wheat in
a dream means afflictions. Holding a bundle of ears of wheat, or placing them
inside a pot in a dream means profits equal to the number of spikes one has
gathered. Harvesting wheat outside the season in a dream means death,
destruction, deception and trials for the people of that locality. Harvesting green
spikes of wheat in the dream means the death of a young person, but if they are
yellow and dry, then they mean the death of an elderly person. Bartering wheat
for barley in a dream means replacing the Quranic recital with interest in
poetry. Seeing wheat over one’s bed in a dream represents one’s wife. Planting
its seeds in a dream means conceiving a child. In a dream, wheat also represents
a cautious person who manages his affairs with wisdom and who spends his
money to help people without being a spendthrift.

Banana
(Money) In a dream, a banana means money, savings, a fetus, a man in
his grave, a prisoner in his jail, a closed book, news from the past, or it could
mean inner knowledge. In a dream, a banana also signifies clothing, love,
tenderness, a generous man, a monotheist, or it could represent a person of good
conduct. If a banana tree grows inside one’s house in a dream, it means that he
may beget a son. Eating a banana in a dream means profits from a business
partnership. For a business man, banana in a dream represents profits and for
a renunciate it means devotion and ascetic detachment. If a sick person eats a
banana in a dream, it means aggravation of his illness or his death.

Hermitage
(Retreat; Sanctuary) A hermitage in a dream represents a spiritual
retreat, abstinence, good character, seclusion, ascetic detachment, controlling
one’s desires and wants, divorcing one’s wife, abandoning one’s friends, or it
could mean an illness. If a sick person sees himself in a hermitage in a dream,
it may mean his death, or it could mean suppressing one’s sexual desires.
Occupying a hermitage or building one in a dream means rising in station. A
beautiful and a newly built hermitage in the dream represents a wife. A
hermitage in a dream also could mean migration, bewilderment, severing a
friendship, hiding, power, or it could represent one’s son. Whatever may affect

Church
For a Christian person, seeing a church in a dream signifies a house of
worship, religion, knowledge, devotion, work, ascetic detachment, fear of
wrongdoing, penance, lamentation and it could mean crying. A church in a
dream also could mean distress, trouble, slander, innovation, injustice, a
business club, a meeting house, bingo, wine, alcoholic consumption, commun¬
ion, weddings or a wife. In a dream, a church also can represent its parish,
diocese, ministry, clergyman or a chaplain. If one sees a church turned into a
synagogue, or a synagogue turned into a church in a dream, it means mistrust,
an argument, or a scheme for tax evasion. Seeing oneself in a synagogue in a
dream means that one may become a Jew. If one’s house turns into a church in
a dream, it means that he will bring its business to his house, or it may mean
a fight with one’s boss. Seeing a church in a dream also denotes a cemetery,
confession, a prostitute, a music house or a place of confinement. If a woman sees
herself attending a wedding or a funeral service at a church in a dream, it may

Entering Paradise
If one sees himself entering the heavenly paradise in a dream,
then his dream represents glad tidings that God willing, he shall enter it. If a
pilgrim sees himself entering paradise in a dream, it means that his pilgrimage
is accepted or that he will reach God’s House in Mecca. If he lacks faith in God
Almighty, it means that he will become a believer. If a believer who is bed-
stricken sees himself entering paradise in a dream, it means that he will die of
his illness. If a non-believer who is bed-stricken sees himself entering paradise
in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. If he is unwed, it means
that he will get married. If he is poor, it means that he will become rich or receive
an inheritance. If a sick person sees himself in the abode of the hereafter healthy
again in a dream, it means that he will reach it free from the ills of this world,
its adversities and temptations. If he is not sick, then entering the realms of the
hereafter means glad tidings, business success, a pilgrimage, ascetic detachment
from this world, sincere devotion, acquiring knowledge, strengthening of one’s
kinship or exercising patience toward a calamity which derives from one’s own
sins. If one sees himself entering the abode of the hereafter to visit and see
around, and should he be a person of good deeds and character who is a capable
person and who acts upon his knowledge, it means that he will be without work
or suffer from business losses. If he is scared of something, or if he is accused
of something, or if he is under stress, it means that his fears will dissipate.
Mostly, entering the abode of the hereafter in a dream means travels or
migration from one’s homeland. Thus, if one sees himself returning from a
journey to the hereafter in a dream, it means that he will return to his homeland.
Entering paradise in a dream means a pilgrimage to God’s House in Mecca.

Grain merchant
In a dream, a grain merchant represents a man of dignity whose
earnings are blessed if he does not need to sell his merchandise in the dream,
but if he is eager to dispose of his merchandise, then it will bring him
humiliation. If one sees the governor of his town selling grains in a dream, it
means that he will lose his post. A grain merchant in a dream also represents
the head of merchants, a union boss, the chief craftsperson, or a popular and a
magnanimous ruler. Selling grains and not seeing the return or money in a
dream represents one’s ascetic detachment and gratitude to his Lord, for the

Seeds
Planting seeds in a dream represent the element of progeny and procreation.
Scattered seeds on the ground in a dream mean bearing a child for each seed.
As for the grains that are germinated for medicinal purpose, when seen in a
dream, they mean acquiring knowledge that helps the person in question to
increasehis or herpiety and ascetic detachment from worldly matters. Pumpkin,
cucumber, eggplant, sweet basil, chard, onion, cabbage, Indian corn and melon
seeds in a dream mean abating or ceasing of difficulties and disturbances, or
they could mean recovering from a terminal illness. If one sees himself trying
to plant something which is not a plant, or to place a seed in an unsuitable
ground in a dream, it means that he is wasting his money and squandering his
property. To plant seeds in a dream also could mean knowledge, wealth or
recognizing a noble trade. Sprouted seeds in a dream represent honor and
status. However planting seeds in a dream also represent mixing with evil
