in meaning depending on their contents, colors or type, etcetera. Wearing one’s
garb in the winter in a dream is better than wearing it in the summer. Wrapping
oneself with a cloth in a dream means becoming poor. An attire in a dream
represents a man and a leader. An attire for a scholar, or a merchant, or a leader
in a dream represents his trade through which one earns his livelihood and
which protects him from adversities. If one’s apparel is dirty in the dream, then
it reflects his life and appearance. If one wears a beautiful garb in the
summertime in a dream, it means that he is ostentatious, arrogant and
vainglorious. It also could mean that he is under great pressure and suffering
from a painful distress, for the heat of a summer in a dream signifies distress.
If a woman sees herself wearing a man’s apparel in a dream, it means piety and
success in her material and spiritual life. If a man sees himself wearing a
woman’s apparel in a dream, it means that he will be afflicted with fear,

in command. Seeing a pavilion in a dream also means conquering one’s enemy.
A canopy in a dream represents someone who has less authority than the
commander, a dome represents someone of a lower rank, and a tent in a dream
means less than a dome. If a commander is seen leaving his pavilion in a dream,
it means that he will lose some of his authority, or that he may die shortly.

tongue represents his translator or his business manager. One’s tongue in a
dream also represents the chief cause of sin. Moving one’s tongue without
speaking in a dream means committing a sin. Seeing an increase in size, width,
or length of one’s tongue in a dream means strength and overcoming one’s
enemy. If one’s tongue becomes elongated with no cause for dispute or argument
in a dream, it means having a bad tongue, or backbiting others, speaking ill
about others, or using base and despicable language. Having a long tongue in
a dream also could mean clarity in one’s speech and eloquence in one’s expressions.
Having two tongues in a dream means acquiring a second language or a second
trade, using a proof other than one’s own in a court of justice, or winning victory
over one’s enemy. If one finds his tongue tied in a dream, it means stagnation
of his business, or it could mean poverty. If black hair grows over one’s tongue
in a dream, it means a fast coming evil. If gray hair grows over one’s tongue in
a dream, then it means a slow coming adversity. Hair growing over one’s tongue
in a dream also means writing or reciting a poem. One’s tongue in a dream also
represents the perfect alibi, the beauty and eloquence of one’s presentation, a
professional presentation, good fame and good conduct. If a governor’s tongue
is cut off in a dream, it means the death of his interpreter or his speech writer.

will be impeached or deposed from his leadership position following his tyranny

death of an infant. If one has to appear in court and sees his tongue cut off in
a dream, it means that his proof will be rejected by the judge. If only the side
of one’s tongue is cut off in a dream, it means that he has doubts about the
testimony of his witness. If he is a merchant, it means that he will lose an
important business deal. If he is a student, it means that he will not complete
his schooling. It is also said that when one’s tongue is cut off in a dream, it means
that he is a forbearing person. If the wife’s tongue is cut off in a dream it means
that she is a chaste and a pious woman. If a wife cuts off the tongue of her
husband in a dream, it means that she will flirt with him and show him
tenderness and love. Cutting off the tongue of a poor person in a dream means
giving something to an impudent person to shun off his evil. If a poor person cuts
off the tongue of another poor person in a dream, it means a fight between them.
If one’s tongue sticks to his palate in a dream, it means that he will deny or reject
someone’s right, refute the truth, or lie about a trust he received to keep for a
time. Eating one’s tongue or biting on it in a dream represents an act one will
regret. If a governor sees that in a dream, it means that he swindles people’s
money and receives bribes. Biting on one’s tongue in a dream also means
remaining mostly silent, withholding one’s advice, or controlling one’s fury and
anger. Biting one’s tongue in a dream also could denote gluttony. Cutting off
one’s tongue in a dream means invalidating one’s argument or proof, or
preventing him from asking for anything. The cutting off of a poet’s tongue in
a dream means giving him money for his recitation. Seeing one’s tongue black
in a dream means that one may preside over his own people. If he is a wretched
person, it means that he is a liar. If someone who is scared of something sees
his tongue in a dream, it means that he will lose his battle and become subject
to defamation and humiliation. If a wretched person sees himself having many
tongues in a dream, it means that he will have a large family. Having many
tongues in a dream also means speaking many foreign languages. If one’s tongue
is split in half in a dream, it means that he is a liar. Having many tongues and
of many colors in a dream means telling different and contradictory stories, or
it could represent a music writer. If people touch one’s tongue or suck it in a
dream, it means that they are acquiring his knowledge. It also represents people
toadying or lobbying in official business. One's tongue in a dream also repre¬
sents a hidden treasure, a hidden knowledge, a toadying servant, an employee,
one’s house, a vehicle, a skilled enemy, a seedling of a fruit bearing tree, a bad
wife, a barren woman, one’s spoken and irretrievable words, earnings, collecting
garbage, following someone’s traces, a policeman, or a prisoner. An animal’s
tongue in a dream represents one’s life or death, because for an animal, his
tongue is like a hand through which he takes things. If a scholar’s tongue is cut
off in a dream, it means that he will lose his argument, or it could mean the death
of his assistant, student or son. Losing one’s tongue in a dream represents the
malicious joy of one’s enemy, family, or neighbors for one’s losses, or it could
mean the death of a beloved, severing a relationship, or a plant disease that will
affect one’s fruit bearing trees. Perhaps losing one’s tongue in a dream could
mean separation between husband and wife, divorce, losing one’s job, or moving
to a new town. Having two tongues in a dream also means backbiting others,
or having two faces with people, for people say that so-and so has two tongues
or two faces. If the second tongue does not impede the person from speaking in
the dream, then it denotes his truthfulness, love and affection toward others.
One’s tongue in a dream also may represent something one fears, such as the
collapsing of a roof over his head, or it could represent an enemy. It also means
isolating oneself from people of knowledge and wisdom, or it could mean
remaining mostly silent, minding one’s own business, or offering devotion and
being grateful to God Almighty for His gifts and blessings. One’s tongue in a
dream also represents a captured prisoner of war, or a snake hiding in its pit.

plenty of food in a dream, it means relief and money. If a mouse leaves one’s
house in a dream, it means that blessings will depart from that house and its
earnings will diminish. Owning a pet mouse in a dream means having a servant
or a housekeeper. A black mouse and a white mouse in a dream represent the
night and the day. Seeing a mouse of either black or white color going about its
own business in the daylight in a dream means longevity. If one sees a mouse
nibbling into one’s garment in a dream, it means that one will announce his
intentions or goals. A mouse digging a hole in a dream represents a thief. A
mouse in a dream also could represents a girlfriend, an opportunistic woman,
or a lady friend who is hiding her true intentions. Catching a mouse in a dream
also means befriending a woman, or marriage. Mice in a dream also mean

world and in the hereafter. Wearing a woolen garment in a dream means
renouncing the world and calling on people to do the same and to desire the
benefits of the hereafter. Wearing a green robe in a dream brings benefits and
no harm. If a living person sees himself or someone else wearing green in a
dream, it denotes his religious devotion. As for a deceased person, it means a
good state and acceptance before God Almighty. It is also said that wearing a
green garment in a dream means receiving an inheritance. Wearing a white
garment also means glad tidings. If a fabric merchant or a tailor sees himself
wearing a white garment in a dream, it means lack of work. Wearing a black
garment in a dream means a bad omen, but if one is used to wearing black
clothing, then it means honor, wealth and receiving a high ranking position.
Wearing a red garment in a dream means excess earnings that are not yet free
from due alms. Such a person then must immediately pay the proper share of
his earnings. A red garment in a dream means death, sickness and to a poor
person, it means increase in his difficulties. Wearing a red garment in a dream
can mean good only if the person wearing it is an unmarried woman. Otherwise,
wearing red during festivals or social gatherings in a dream has no meaning.
Wearing a yellow garment in a dream or any of its derivative colors in general
means ulcer or other internal festering illness. Wearing a silken garment in a
dream means loss and negligence of one’s religious life. Wearing a blue garment
in a dream means distress and difficulties. Wearing a patterned garment of
mixed colors in a dream means being reprimanded by one’s superior. It also
could represent a flower merchant. Wearing a double sided coat means duplicity
and affectation. A washed garment in a dream means poverty and indebtedness.
Wearing a brocaded garment in a dream means attending a pilgrimage. Oth¬
erwise, if the person qualifies, it means controlling interests in a farmland, or
it may represent a good harvest for that year. Wearing a garment which is
brilliant in colors for a man in a dream represents his pride and arrogance. If
one sees himself wearing a silken raiment and portraying a religious jurist in
a dream, it means that he is a seeker of worldly titles who may invent something
new. Announcing lost and found garments in a dream means attending a
pilgrimage to Mecca or a journey to an Arab country. A woman wearing a thin
garment in a dream represents her integrity, while if she is wearing a thick
garment, it represents her labor and hardships. If one sees himself putting on
a new garment after taking a ritual bath in a dream, it means prosperity or
repayment of his debts. If one’s new garment is torn and cannot be repaired in
the dream, it means inability to bear children. If the garment can be repaired
in the dream, it means that there is an evil spell over the person wearing it.
Wearing two torn garments in a dream means death. A torn garment in a dream
also means a shattered religious or spiritual life, or it could mean that one is
pursued by an evil person, or it could mean poverty or striving to satisfy one’s
basic material needs. If one is stripped of his clothing in a dream, it means loss
of his status. Destroying or wasting garments in a dream brings glad tidings,
unless if the person seeing the dream is incarcerated, or if he is a poor person,
or if he is in debt. If a man sees himself wearing a woman’s outfit in the dream,
and if in his consciousness he intended to act effeminately, it means that he will
face a calamity and carry a great burden. If he thinks in his dream that he is
a woman, then his humiliation will be greater. Receiving used garments but in
a good condition as a gift in a dream means money, though if they are in bad
condition, they mean trouble. A dog wearing a woolen cloak in a dream
represents a just ruler. If one sees a lion wearing a cotton or a linen cloak in a
dream, it represents a ruler who confiscates people’s properties and money.
Wearing linen cloak in a dream also means living a dignified life. Eating a clean
garment in a dream means receiving lawful earnings, and eating a dirty
garment in a dream means living from unlawful money. Burning one’s garment
in a dream means the end of his difficulties. Ironing off the creases of one’s
garment before wearing it in a dream means interest in beauty, glitters and
