Friday
( arb. Jumua, the sixth day of the week.) Recognizing Friday, the sixth day
of the week in which the believers gather for their congregational prayers in a
dream means receiving God’s blessings, recuperating a lost property, receiving
compensation for one’s losses, and changes in his financial conditions from
tightness to ease. If one sees people gathered to pray the congregational Friday
prayers at the grand mosque while he is still in his house or shop, and if he hears
the call and segments of their prayers, or if he suspects people to be leaving the
mosque to return to their homes in the dream, it means loss of his status in that
town. If one joins the congregational prayers in the dream, it means that he will
receive protection and honor in that town. If one thinks it is Friday in his dream,
then the meaning will be more pejorative than laudatory. Joining the congre¬
gational Friday prayers in a dream also may connote a pleasant journey with
anticipation of a financial reward one may receive. Joining the Friday con¬
gregational prayers in a dream is a sign of joy and living to join one of the two
festive congregational prayers of the end of Ramadan or that of the pilgrimage
season. The Friday congregational prayers in a dream also represents the
pilgrimage of the poor people, or satisfying one’s debts. It also means anticipating
a relaxed financial conditions, or meeting with an old friend or a beloved after
a long separation. (Also see Pilgrimage; Preachr)

Giving
(Allot; Distribute; Gift; Offer) Giving something in a dream indicates the
value or worth of the giver. If one gives his workers or a needy person little
money when they merit more, it denotes his disobedience to the commands of
God Almighty, or straying away from the prophetic traditions. If one is denied
what he is asking for in a dream, it means failure in his religious practices,
suffering from the consequences of challenging others and arguing about
religious laws, or it could represent one’s perilous pursuit of heedless thoughts.
If a sick person sees himself paying his debts in a dream, it means his death or
the spoiling of his wealth. If he is healthy, then it denotes a case of mental
derangement, anger, lack of self-control or raising one’s voice unnecessarily. If
a poor person sees himself paying someone’s debt in a dream, it means that he
will receive benefits. Receiving monetary compensation by a court order in a
dream denotes lawful earnings.

of others and desire to strip them of what they have. (Also see Compensation;
Skinning an animal)

Wound
(Bleeding; Cut; Injury) A wound in a dream means compensation money
that will come out of an injury one may suffer, and it will show. A cut in the right
hand in a dream means money which is earned from a family business. If the
left hand receives the cut, such profits will come through a female relative. If
one sees his left foot bleeding from a cut, it means that he will earn money from
a farming business. If his injury is in his back, then such profits will come from his children.
If his wound starts bleeding in the dream, it means a debt which
he must repay, even if it is difficult for him to do so at present. Every bleeding
wound in a dream represents a financial obligation. In a dream, a head wound
which does not bleed is a sign that one should guard his money. A wound which
does not bleed in a dream also represents recognition by others. If a man of
authority is wounded in an accident, whereby his flesh splits open, and his bones
are dissected in a dream, it means that he will live a long life to see the burial
of most of his relatives. If an army general sees his left hand wounded in a
dream, it means that his army will double in size. If his right hand is wounded
in the dream, it means that the area of his control will expand. If one suffers from
a wound in his stomach in the dream, it means growth in his financial standing.
If one is wounded in his thigh in the dream, it means that his clan will grow
stronger. If one sees himself wounded in his legs in a dream, it means longevity.
If one’s foot is wounded in the dream, it means that his authority and control
will become firmer. If one receives a cut and no blood runs out of his wound in
a dream, it means that the assailant will say something true about his victim,
representing the answer the person in the dream needs to realize. A bleeding
wound in a dream also means being subject to backbiting, though what will be
said is true. If one sees an angel piercing his stomach with a sword, whereby he
thinks that he is dead in the dream, it means that he may suffer from an ulcer
which will ultimately heal. If the sword inflicts a wound in his neck in a dream,
it means prosperity which will mostly benefit his progeny. (Also see Horizontal
wound; Surgery; Vertical wound)

Appearance
(Emergence; Manifestation; Visibility) In a dream, if one sees
something that is kept away from him as a secret, it means experiencing comfort
after suffering from trials, receiving compensation after suffering from injus¬
tice, conceiving a child after having given up hope or the like examples. A
revealed secret on time in a dream means fulfillment of a promise, satisfying
one’s needs, repayment of one’s debts, arriving of a long awaited person from a
journey, release of a prisoner from his jail, and for a woman, it could mean
becoming pregnant. If something emerges at the wrong time in a dream, it

Ceiling
A ceiling in a dream represents a well respected person. If it is made of
wood, then it represents a fallacious and a deceptive person. If the ceiling looks
as if it were going to cave over one’s head in a dream, it means being afraid of
someone in authority. If consequently some dirt falls over his shirt from the
ceiling in the dream, it means that he will receive money in compensation for
his pain and sufferings. If the central pillar that holds the ceiling cracks and
falls in the dream, it means the death of the man of that house. If the ceiling
collapses in the dream, it means the death of the man of that house. If one hides
under a roof in a dream, it means that he will enter his house and rob his family’s
belongings. If water is leaking from one’s ceiling in a dream, it means crying in
that house for the sake of a departed soul or crying because of a sick person in
that family. If rain dissolves the ceiling in a dream, it means loss of money and
falling-out from grace. If one sees himself standing on the ceiling of his house
and cannot come down in the dream, it means his imprisonment. In a dream,
the central beam that carries the ceiling represents a hypocrite who supports
the business of an alliance of profiteers. Should the central beam break down
and fall in the dream, it means that such a person will be removed from his office.
If the ceiling falls over someone’s head in a dream, it means that punishment
and sufferings will befall him too. If one sees the stars under the roof of his house
in a dream, it means that his ceiling may actually cave-in. (Also see Cave-in)

Lance
In a dream, a lance represents a branch of wood, stability based on one’s
strength, or stepping away from the wrong path. A lance in a dream also
represents a woman, a child, testifying to the truth, or going on a journey. A
lance in one’s hand in a dream represents a grand son or a blessed son who will
grow to preside over people and defend them with his own life. A broken lance
in a dream represents an incurable deficiency or a disease that will inflict one’s
child. Carrying a lance while riding a horse in a dream means authority with
honor. If someone denies his ownership of a lance in a dream, it means an
accident or a betrayal. If the lance belongs to a brother, then it means a calamity.
If one does repair a broken lance in a dream, it means recovering from an illness.
A lance without a spearhead in a dream means the death of one’s brother or
child. A lance in a dream also represents a brother or a friend who will part with
his brother or friend, or it could mean loss of one’s job. Walking with a lance in
one’s hand in the middle of a marketplace in a dream means walking or strolling
with one’s son. As for a pregnant woman, a metal lance means that she will
deliver a girl, and that she will receive a gift of money or a present after her birth
from other daughters. Cariying a lance with a flag raised on top of it in a dream
means attaining a position that will earn fame. If one is challenged by someone
holding a lance against him in a dream, it means that someone will hurt him
with his words, or slander his family. Owning an extra lance in a dream means
having a brother or a friend who will stand for one’s defence when needed. A long
spear means injustice, or it could mean good health. If one bleeds from a wound
caused by a lance in a dream, it means that he will be compensated for pain and
suffering, or that he will return home from a longjourney. Multiple wounds from
a lance in a dream mean financial compensation, though the source of money
is loathsome. Fighting one’s enemies with a lance means earning dirty money.
