it means loss of dignity, demotion or loss of property. Owning a bellows in a
dream means acquiring vast control and sovereignty if one qualifies for that.
Otherwise, a bellows in a dream means benefits and blessings. Seeing a bellows
blowing fire in a dream means completing a project, satisfying a need, reaching
one’s goal or earning money. If the bellows are not in use, or if they are not
blowing air into the fire, then they signify distress, adversities and trouble.
Seeing bellows that are used by a goldsmith or a silversmith in a dream means
sincerity in one’s faith, certitude and devoting one’s life to worshipping God
Almighty. Seeing bellows that are used in blowing glass in a dream signify deceit
and cunningness. Bellows in a dream also represent a woman who conceive
children easily, then quickly has miscarriages. Bellows in a dream also repre¬
sent a hot tempered man, a prison, a police station, or a torture dungeon. Seeing

Thief
(Assassin; Illness; Robber) In a dream, a thief represents an illness,
deficiency in one’s character, or a physical ailment. If the thief is a black man,
it means that the illness relates to one’s black bile. If the color of his skin is red,
then it relates to one’s blood. If the color of his skin is yellow, then it relates to
his galls. If the color of his skin is white, then it relates to his chest and phlegm.
Whatever a thief takes in the dream should be interpreted in relation to the
substance of what he took. If he takes nothing from one’s house, then it denotes
a passing ailment. If one catches the thief, or holds to his shirt in the dream,
it means that he knows the cure. A thief in a dream also represents an assassin,
the angel of death, a visitor, or someone asking for marriage. If there is a sick
person in the house and a thief enters that house in a dream, it means the death
of the ailing person. If a thief comes to one’s house and takes nothing from it in
a dream, it means the recovery of sick person from his illness. A thief in a dream
also can be interpreted to represent a cunning person, a deceiver, an adulterer,
a hunter, a backbiter, someone who asks for things that do not belong to him,
a lion, a snake, a Satan, eavesdropping, or one’s mind, desire and passions. If
a scholar sees a thief in his dream, it means that he will learn wisdom from an

Writer

dream represents a dishonest, cunning, deceitful and a fraudulent person. If a
writer sees himself unlettered in a dream, it means that he will forget his
pranks, or lose his mind, or waste his religion, or develop a weak spiritual
standing, or become poor. If one sees himself as an unlettered person, then if
he suddenly becomes a writer in a dream, it means that he will develop pranks
and deceive his opponent or enemy. Discovering oneself as a writer in a dream
means that one will attend to the comfort of others rather than to his own
comfort. Consequently he will get exhausted from such exercise and find that
he gained nothing from it. If a sick person sees such a dream, it means his death.
If a worker sees that dream, then it connotes his honesty and loyalty, or it could
mean that he will be promoted, or get a raise from his employer. A writer in a
dream also represents a tailor, a farmer, or a locomotive engineer. Seeing a
scribe, or the secretary of managerial people, or someone in authority in a dream
means that one may become one of them, or it could mean that he will rise in

terpreting random figures that are formed when a handful of earth is thrown
on the ground or one who interprets randomly drawn lines on sand represents
a fraudulent and a cunning person, a thief, or such a dream could represent

Milk
(Instinct; Nature; Profits) In a dream, milk represents nature, instinct, or
easy and lawful money. However, curdled milk in a dream represents unlawful
money. If a man or a woman discover that they are carrying milk in their breast
in a dream, it means building of one’s savings. If a man sees milk flowing from
his breast in a dream, it means wealth, prosperity and that new opportunities
will rise from every direction. Woman’s milk in a dream means recovering from
an illness. If a woman sees herself carrying milk in her breast in a dream, when
in reality she does not have it, it means that she will breast feed a new born.
If a woman sees herself breast-feeding a baby, a man, or another woman in her
dream, it means that the source of earnings will be hampered or restricted to
both the suckling person and to the one who is breast-feeding him. Hiring a wet-
nurse to breast-feed one’s child in a dream means raising a child to be like his
father, or to have the character of one’s father. Sucking milk from a woman’s
breast in a dream also means prosperity and profits. Drinking the milk of a horse
in a dream means receiving love and affection from someone in authority and
earning benefits from such a relationship. Drinking the milk of a mare in a
dream means a meeting with a ruler. In general, cow’s milk, goat’s milk, or
sheep’s milk in a dream represent lawful earnings. Milking in a dream means
craftiness and cunning, or it could mean prosperity. Milking an Arabian she-
camel in a dream means working in an Arab country. Milking an Asian Bactrian
camel in a dream means working in another country. If blood comes out of the
glands of a she-camel instead of milk in a dream, it means deviation from God’s
path, or it could represent a tyranny. If a venom flows from one’s glands instead
of milk in the dream, it means earning unlawful money. If a merchant, or a
business man milks any milk producing animal in a dream, it means profits.
Sucking the gland of a pregnant she-camel, one, two, or three times in a dream
means steadfastness in one’s religion, performing one’s obligatory prayers,
distributing charity, acquiring knowledge and wisdom. Milking a camel and
drinking its milk in a dream also means marriage to a pious and a chaste woman.
If one is already married, then it means that his wife will beget a blessed son.
If a poor person sees himself milking a cow and drinking its milk in a dream,
it means that he will earn enough money to satisfy his basic needs. Drinking
sheep’s milk, or goat’s milk in a dream means profits, happiness, comfort and
joy. Lioness milk in a dream also means money or conquering one’s enemy, or
justly opposing the ruler of the country. The milk of an eagle in a dream means
power and victory. Tiger’s milk in a dream means avowing one’s enmity toward
someone. Drinking the milk of a jackal or a wolf in a dream means paying a fine,
extreme fear, suffering losses, or lack of determination, or it could mean
presiding over people and skillfully defrauding them of their wealth. Drinking
swine’s milk in a dream means changes in one’s state, altering one’s mind and
focus. However, drinking a little of it in a dream may mean acquiring lawful
earnings, though drinking a lot of it in the dream could mean receiving unlawful
money. Drinking bitch’s milk in a dream means feebleness of mind, or senility,
or it could represent money earned from an unjust person, or it could mean
presiding over one’s local community, or becoming the governor of the town.
Drinking the milk of any beasts in a dream represents doubt about one’s
religion. Drinking zebra’s milk in a dream also means an illness. Drinking the
milk of a deer or a gazelle in a dream represents small earnings. The milk of
non-milk producing animals or birds in a dream means that one’s wish will
come true. The milk of predatory animals and stingers in a dream means
making peace with one’s enemy. Drinking snake’s milk in a dream means
performing a deed that is pleasing to God Almighty, rejoicing, or escaping from
a calamity. The milk of a fox in a dream denotes a passing illness which will
be followed by borrowing a small amount of money, or it could mean recovering
from an illness. Drinking donkey’s milk in a dream also represents an illness,
while drinking the milk of a she-ass in a dream means profits. Cat’s milk in a
dream represents an illness, experiencing life’s adversities, or it could denote
generosity. Seeing milk spilled on the ground in a dream means corruption,
tyranny and blood-shed on earth that will equal the amount of the spilled milk.
Sheep’s milk in a dream means honest earnings. Cow’s milk also means wealth.
A mule’s milk in a dream means financial straits, adversities and horror. The
milk of a sable in a dream means an illness or fear. Pouring milk into the drain
or wasting it in a dream means losing money, or it could mean longevity,
pregnancy, knowledge, or a scandal that will expose one’s private life. Curdled
milk in a dream means distress. Rabbit’s milk and horse’s milk in a dream
means having a righteous name, or giving a righteous name to one’s newborn.
Human milk in a dream represents a trust one should not waste or give to other
than its rightful owner. The milk of an unknown animal in a dream means
energy and strength for a sick person, release from prison, illegal seizure of

or a conspiracy. A writer in a dream represents a cunning and a fraudulent
person. If one’s handwriting looks illegible, or inelegant in the dream, it means
that he will repent for dishonesty and from defrauding people. Writing on a
scroll or on a legal pad in a dream means that one may receive an inheritance.
Writing in a notebook in a dream means dodging, or repudiation. Writing a novel
or a book in a dream means receiving unlawful money, or it could mean falling
sick. If one sees himself writing a book or a letter and finishes it in his dream,
it means that he will complete a project and fulfill his goals. If he fails to
complete his book or his letter in the dream, it means that something will
hamper, or stand in the way of completing his project. Writing with the left hand
in a dream means indulging in loathsome actions, going astray, or perhaps
having a son who is born from adultery, or it could mean that one may become
a poet. Signing a deed, a check or a legal contract in a dream means failing to
fulfill an agreement. If one sees someone he knows drafting a contract between
them in a dream, it means that the other person will defraud him, mislead him
in a business deal and drive him astray. If one finds himself illiterate and
incapable of writing in a dream, it means that he is depressed, though God
Almighty will show him a way out of his difficulties. If an illiterate person sees
himself trying to learn how to write and read in a dream, it means that he will
benefit from something he feared for a long time, or it could mean that he will
go through hard times. If a learned person finds himself incapable of writing
anything in a dream, it means depression, fear, toiling and obstruction of his

oath, a vow, or a pledge. Writing a note on a piece of paper in a dream means
being ungrateful and perfidious toward others. A writer in a dream also
represents someone who is burdened, pressured, doubtful and uncertain, whereby,
writing has become his escape goat and a way out of his depression. If one’s boss
gives him a paper to write something on it in a dream, it means that he will solicit
something from his boss and eventually receive it. If one feels uncertain about
some people then sees himself holding a pen and a piece of paper in a dream,
it means that his obscurity will be replaced with clarity. Holding a piece of paper
in a dream also means attaining one’s goal, or completing a project, or finalizing
a program. A paper salesman in a dream represents someone who helps cunning

Jihad: (Inner and outer struggle) Joiningthe warriors in the battlefield in a dream
means that one is a true worshiper who attends to his regular prayers and pays
his charities and due alms. If one sees the people charging toward the battle¬
field, it means that they will receive an endowment of divine forgiveness,
victory, might and unity between the believers. To die as a martyr on God’s path
in a dream means joy, happiness and prosperity. Joining a jihad battle in the
sea in a dream means poverty, failure and walking toward destruction. Winning
a sea battle in Jihad against a tyrant in a dream means restoring one’s religious
commitment, and it could represent a protective jealousy for one’s wife, or
winning a struggle in favor of one’s parents. Victory in the battlefield during
Jihad means profits in one’s business. Returning from a holy war against an
oppressor in a dream means that one may lose his religious commitment or

Jinn: (Sing. Jinni) A creation from a smokeless fire. Among the Jinn, some are
believers while others are satans. This is in contrast to human beings who are
created from earth and among them some are believers and others are human
satans. Jinn in a dream represent fraud, deceit, cunning, perfidy, treachery,
theft, alcoholism, invented religious practices, travels, music, bars, tricks,
sleight of hand, illusion, sorcery and magic. If one is transformed into a Jinni
in a dream, it means that he will acquire such qualities. If one meets a Jinni who
displays truthfulness, knowledge and wisdom which is recognizable by the
person in the dream it means that he will receive good news. Seeing Jinn
standing by one’s door in a dream means losses, a vow that must be fulfilled, or
experiencing bad luck. Seeing Jinn entering one’s house and doing work there
in a dream means that thieves may enter that house and cause major losses. If
one sees himself teaching the Quran to a gathering of Jinn in a dream, it means
that he will be appointed to a leadership position. Accompanying Jinn in a
dream means familiarity with, and keeping the company of men of knowledge,
or people of inner knowledge. If one marries a female from amongst the Jinn in
a dream, it means that he will marry an insolent wife, or that he may suffer a
great calamity. If a righteous person sees himself chaining Jinn in a dream, it
means that he holds fast to his prayers, fasting, controls his carnal self and base
desires. Engaging in a battle with Jinn in a dream means that one will be safe
from their evil. To befriend a known leader from amongst the Jinn in a dream
means becoming a police officer and make it one’s profession to pursue criminals
and bandits. It also could mean that one might become a guided man of
knowledge or a teacher. Seeing Jinn gathering in a known locality in a dream
also may indicate the presence of snakes, scorpions, or what human beings may

In a dream, a mule represents an obstinate and a stupid person, an imbecile
or a bastard. A mule in a dream represents an illegitimate child who is born from
a foreign father in adultery. Riding a mule in a dream means longevity or
marrying a barren woman. If one sees himself mounting a saddled mule which
is travelling toward Mecca in a dream, it means that he will soon perform a
pilgrimage. Wandering on a mule in a dream means benefits. An obstinate mule
in a dream represents a cunning person. Riding a mule in a dream also means
having a dispute with someone. A weak mule who cannot be controlled in a
dream represents a niggardly and a wicked person. Riding on top of loads a mule
is carrying, and if the mule is consenting in a dream means controlling one’s
environment.

back and forth. A saw in a dream also may represent ajudge, an arbitrator, or
marriage. A saw in a dream also means division of assets, a scale, or a perfidious
person who loves to create division between a husband and a wife, and to
separates between them. A saw in a dream also represents a cunning person,
unfair dealings between people, hypocrisy, evil, an informant, or sexual in¬
tercourse. A saw in a dream also represents a helper, strength, profits, a public
ordinance, a proclamation, a learned person, or a judge. A lumberman’s saw in

In a dream, an old woman represents the ending of one’s life in this
world, sorrows, the hereafter, wine, or bearing children after having lost hope in
one’s fertility. An old woman in a dream also could represent deceit, cunningness,
duplicity, backbiting, or slander. Seeing an old and sick woman in a dream may
mean impotence, weakness, or disability. Seeing a thirsty old woman in a dream
means drought. If she turns a young girl in the dream, then she represents rain.
If an unknown old woman visits a sick person in a dream, it means his death.
Otherwise, if an unknown old woman visits a pregnant woman in a dream, it
means giving her the glad tidings of a son. If one is engaged in an important project
and sees himself sleeping with an old woman in a dream, it means that his project
will not succeed. An old woman in a dream also represents non-arable land. If one
sees her wearing a veil in the dream, it means that he will meet with hardships
and regret. If one sees an ugly old woman, or a hag in a dream, it means adversities
and war. If a young woman sees herself as an old woman in a dream, it means
earning respect and dignity. An unknown old woman in a dream also represents
a bad crop for that year. If one sees an old woman descending from the skies and
people are wondering about her, she represents the passing year. Seeing an ugly
old woman in a dream also could mean glad tidings of an ending war, or the end
of drought. An emaciated old woman in a dream represents a year of drought. If
she gains weight and turns beautiful in the dream, she represents changes in the
weather conditions, bringing a prosperous and a happy end for the farmers in that
year. An ostentatious old woman in a dream represents a prosperous life, or good
news that will arrive shortly. If she looks frowning or unhappy in the dream, then
she represents distress and loss of prestige. If she looks ugly in the dream, she
represents facing adverse conditions. If she is naked in the dream, she represents
a scandal. If an old woman enters a house in a dream, it means prosperity and
business success and if she leaves a house in the dream, it means the opposite.
An unknown old woman in a dream has a stronger connotation than a known old
woman. If one sees himself frequenting an old woman in a dream, his dream
denotes his attachment to worldly gains. If an old woman who passed her
menopause sees herself in a dream experiencing her menstrual period again and
regaining her sexual drive, and if she sees herself engaged in sexual intercourse
in the dream, it means that she will become religious and have strong material
and spiritual success in her life if her sexual intercourse in the dream is marital
intercourse and of a lawful nature. Otherwise, if it is unlawful, then it represents
her attachment to worldly gains and neglects for her spiritual values. If a young
woman sees herself being an old woman in a dream, it means that she will prosper
and have a successful marital life.
