Vice-regent
(Calif; Caliphate; Deputy; Human being; Minister; Ruler; Secretary
of state; Vizier) In a dream, a vice-regent represents someone whom people seek
for his knowledge, or to learn the mastery of his craft, or he could represent an
appointed justice of the peace. He also represents someone who inherits good
and bad qualities, or whose character is different privately from the way he
portrays himself in public. If one sees the vice-regent of the land in a stately
appearance, or if he sees himself in such a form in a dream, it denotes his good
state in this world and his success in the hereafter. Seeing him wearing an
unsuitable garment in a dream reflects one’s own state, or it may mean that his
current religious state is weak, though it may become better at a latter stage
of his life. A vice-regent or a calif in a dream also represents someone who
establishes the laws of his religion and follows the example of God’s Prophet,
upon whom be peace. Whatever he is wearing in the dream connotes one’s own
state, or the growing or diminishing of his devotion. If one who is promised
something sees the vice-regent or the calif in his dream, it means that his
promise will be fulfilled, and his wishes will come true. Seeing him in a dream
also means that someone from a different circle is backbiting him, or speaking
of him without his consent, or that people are reporting him to the authorities,
or that scholars are discussing him, or mentioning his work. A vice-regent or a
calif in a dream also represents aloofness, seclusion, truthfulness, volunteering
one’s services, commanding what is good and forbidding what is evil, developing
one’s own certitude and faith, repentance, abstaining from sinful actions,
imprisonment, sickness, or travels. If one sees himself being awarded the seat
of the vice-regent or calif in a dream, though he does not suit the position, it
means that adversities and temptations will befall the land, though the people
of knowledge and the righteous ones will escape such danger. It could also mean
that he will suffer humiliation, and that the people whom he manages may rise
to preside over him.

of speech in a dream means being honored, dignified, becoming a knight or being
endowed with immeasurable wealth, or it could mean extension of one’s powers
and control, prosperity from one’s business, fame, or it could mean attaining
excellence in one’s craft or trade. In general, eloquence of speech in a dream
signifies honor and deputyship.

Banknote
(Dollar; Money) A banknote in a dream represents a pure intention, a
beautiful son, a treasure, an agreement, a consent, deputyship, devotion,
straight path, swearing in, testimony or wisdom. Losing a banknote in a dream
means losing one’s son or missing one’s prayers. If one sees himself moving piles
of banknotes to his house in a dream, it means that money will be delivered to
his hand. Though banknotes are blessings and they are what people need,
nevertheless, they are also Satan’s arrows. If one sees himself handling a large
quantity of banknotes in a dream, they mean trusts he receives for saving or as
a business. If one sees himself holding a banknote in his hand in a dream, it
means that he has entrusted something to a friend who will deliver it back to
him on demand. A counterfeit banknote means illegal money or income from
unknown source. A banknote carrying the denomination five, represents the
five time daily prayers in Islam. If one loses one in the dream, it means that he
neglects his required prayers. In some interpretations, banknotes represent a
book. They also represent benefits to a poor person. Perhaps banknotes in a
dream could represent the punishment of a hypocrite, or a person who respects
no commitment toward his friends, or perhaps they could represent a beloved,
mutual support, helping others, or good news. Common denominations such as
one hundred represent working for the government. If one sees himself receiving
a coin of money, or a banknote (e.g. One dollar), it means that he is suffering from
oppression. If one sees himself giving someone a banknote of the denomination
one, then if he finds it shred’ded into pieces in the dream, it represents a severe

Zikr
(Hymn; Remembrance of God; Songs of God’s love; Supplications) If one sees
himself in a dream participating in a circle of people remembering God Al¬
mighty, or calling upon His most beautiful name, or invoking His divine
attributes, or reading the Quran, or reciting devotional songs, it means that
such location will be built as a holy place to celebrate God’s praises. The
goodness of that place depends on the quality of reading, or the degree of
devotion seen in the dream. When it is an ascetic song in the dream, it means
that one’s deputyship is established correctly, but if one sees himself singing
a sensual love song, then it means temptations. If one sees himself repeatedly
calling God’s name in a dream, it means that he will win victory over his enemy.
Calling people to God and reminding them of His attributes in a dream
represents the work of a preacher who admonishes people, helps them to the
shore of safety, and distances them from their sins and their consequences. If
a merchant sees himself callingupon God’s beautiful names in a dream, it means
that his business will be saved from bankruptcy. If a disbeliever, a profane or
a secular person sees himself in a state of remembering God Almighty and
calling upon His most holy attributes in a dream, it means that he may fall sick,
or face great adversities, while in his heart, he will remain pleading with God
Almighty for mercy and relief, though he may remain silent in public regarding
his inner faith, and in fear of being ridiculed by his own circles. If during his
dream one speaks words of truth and wisdom, it means that he will recover from
his adversity and be cured from his illness. Furthermore, he will move into a
more comfortable life and begin a life of sharing and doing good deeds in this
world, or he may receive guidance and light, and faith will permeate his heart.
If one says his prayers with a twang in a dream, it means that he will linger in

Saturn
(Planet) In a dream, the planet Saturn represents subjugation, rulership,
deputyship, power of attorney, or seeking any of the above. If one sees the planet
Saturn close to the moon in dream, it means that he is thinking of business
expansion, real estate, properties, or buildings. The planet Saturn in a dream
also represents a person who lives in the wilderness and mixes with wildlife,
buffalos, dears, peacock, francolin, parrots, or any beautiful looking animal, or
it could represent a caterpillar, silk, or a stripped fabric denoting an architect,
or a caller to prayers, or any courteous employee who willingly and wholeheartedly
serves others. The planet Saturn in a dream also means punishment, poverty,
business losses or adversities.

David
(Prophet David, upon whom be peace.) If one sees him in a dream, it means
that he will gain power, authority, commit a sin, become an ascetic, be tried and
oppressed by an unjust person, then he will be saved by God’s leave and regain
the upper hand over his enemy. He will also receive an exalted office or rank of
honor. It is also said, that if one sees the prophet David (uwbp) in a dream, that
his country or town will be governed by a just ruler, an honorable president or
a righteous judge. If in fact the ruler or the judge of that town, county or country
is an unjust person, then seeing God’s prophet David (uwbp) in a dream means
that God Almighty will surely replace him with a just and an honorable one. If
one becomes God’s prophet David (uwbp), or if he wears his robe in the dream
it means that he will be appointed as a judge, if he qualifies. If he does not
qualify, it means that he will prosper, or that he will grow in piety and become
righteous through much devotion, piety, sadness and crying in fear of his Lord
and love for Him. Seeing the prophet David (uwbp) in a dream also means
deputyship, trials with women, trouble caused by women, or it could mean
recitation of the Quran or being in a state of constant remembrance of God
Almighty, prayers, supererogatory prayers at night, understanding the meaning
of what one reads, repentance from sin, chanting songs of God’s love, returning
to God’s path after heedlessness, manufacturing and processing minerals, or it
could represent God’s acceptance of one’s repentance. Should one be in such a
manufacturing or processing business, it means that great wealth will come to
him, or that his adversities will be of little importance. Seeing the prophet David
(uwbp) in a dream also means reaching a successful conclusion to one’s life in
this world. If an unjust man of knowledge sees him frowning at him or warning
him, then one must be at his guard, fear any wrongdoing and correct himself.

Chair
(Seat) In a dream, a chair represents authority, rank or a woman. An iron
cast chair in a dream represents power and superiority. If it is a wooden chair,
then it means less than that beside added hypocrisy. Sitting on a chair in a
dream means becoming a guardian, deputy, attorney or proxy. If one qualifies
for governing or for managing a business, then sitting on a chair in a dream
means receiving such an appointment. If a traveller sees himself sitting on a
chair in a dream, it means that he will return to his homeland to be reunited
with his family and to attain his goals. For people in authority, a chair in their
dream represents an appointment, a promotion, fame, marriage, children or
buying an expensive property, a new vehicle or a new garment. If one finds a
chair and sits on it in a dream, it means that he will gain power or be married
to a woman whose prestige and sophistication correspond to those of the chair.
If one’s wife is pregnant, then seeing oneself sitting on a chair in a dream means
that she will beget a son. If one sees himself sitting on a chair and wearing a
stately garment in a dream, it means that he will occupy the seat of knowledge,
honor, reverence and that he will receive immediate benefits. If one’s chair
breaks in a dream, it may mean his death or that of his wife, or it could mean
their separation, or losing one’s authority at home or at work. A chair in a dream
also signifies happiness and promotion for the one who sits on it, or it could mean
spiritual success or winning God’s forgiveness in the hereafter and entering the
heavenly paradise. If a pregnant woman sees herself sitting on a chair in a
dream, the chair then represents her labor and her delivery day. If she is
wearing a crown in the dream, then it means that she will beget a son. Seeing
the Divine Throne ( Kursi ) of God Almighty in its most perfect condition which
is situated in the highest heaven and as it is without attribution of human
imagination or depictions of images in a dream means acquiring knowledge,
wisdom and rising in station. A chair in a dream also signifies delivering a babe,
travels, a vehicle, buying a house or initiating a good practice that people will
emulate and follow. As for a sick person, a chair in his dream means being on

(Wheat; Rice flour; Semolina) In a dream, flour means money or blessings.
Semolina in a dream represent a husband who is compatible with his wife. Flour
in a dream also means acquiring exalted knowledge, travels, money, shop, tools,
castle, defense, religious nature, guidance, or recovering from an illness.
However, eating it in a dream means poverty. A bowl of wheat flour in a dream
represents one’s savings, or it could represent one’s family and children. Mixing
wheat flour to make bread in a dream means that a friend will travel to meet
one’s family. Mixing and kneading whole-wheat flour in a dream means faith,
deputyship and victory over one’s enemy. Flour in a dream means immediate
profits, the surfacing of the truth and enjoying comfort after toiling.

Satan
Seeing the accursed one in a dream means evil, sin, lying, stealing,
jealousy, sorcery, separation between husband and wife, disdain from performing
one’s prayers, or it could mean preaching falsehood. Seeing the accursed one in
a dream also means propagation of an invented world or ideas. If in a dream one
becomes Satan, it is interpreted as loosing one’s sight. If one kills Satan in a
dream, it means that he will deceive and conquer a deceiver and an evil person.
In a dream, the accursed Satan also represents an enemy of the body and the
soul. He deceives, cheats, disbelieves, as well as he is ungrateful, jealous,
capricious, arrogant, heedless, impetuous, or he could represent a leader, a
minister, a judge, a policeman, a man of knowledge, a preacher, a hypocrite, or
one’s own family and children. Seeing Satan in a dream also means villainy, dirt,
passion and sexual devilry. If one sees Satan attacking him in a dream, it means
that he earns his money from usury. If Satan touches him in a dream, it means
that someone is slandering or trying to deceive his wife. If one is sick or under
stress, and if he sees Satan touching him in a dream, it means that he will put
his hand on material wealth. If one is suffering from the consequences of devilry
while he recognizes his trials and remains steadfast in remembering God
Almighty and calling upon Him for help in a dream, it means that he has many
enemies tryingto deceive him or to destroy him, though they will eventually fail,
and in turn, they will be defeated by God’s leave. If one sees Satan following him
in a dream, it means that an enemy is pursuing him to deceive him, and
consequently one will lose his status, rank and the benefits of his knowledge.
If one sees himself inwardly talking with Satan in a dream, it means that he will
join hands with his own enemy, and his strike will be against the righteous
people, though he will ultimately fail. If one sees Satan teaching him something
in a dream, it means that he will fabricate a story, speak falsehood, or recite
poems filled with lies. If one sees that Satan has descended upon him in a dream,
it means that he engages in falsehood and sin. If one sees himself presiding over
a band of satans, controlling them, commanding them, and if they obey him in
the dream, it means that he will receive a seat of honor and he will be feared
by his friend and foes. If one ties Satan with chains in a dream, it means that
he will win victory in his life together with might and fame. If one sees himself
deceived by a group of satans in a dream, it means that he will suffer financial
losses or lose his job. If Satan strips someone from his clothing in a dream, it
means that the latter will lose a battle to an enemy. If one sees Satan whispering
something in his ear in dream, it means that he will be dismissed from his job.
If one sees himself defying and fighting Satan in a dream, it means that he is
a true and a strong believer who obeys his Lord and who holds fast to his
religious obligations. If Satan frightens him in a dream, it means that the latter
is a sincere deputy and a protege of God Almighty, and that God will safeguard
him from any fear of the accursed Satan or his army. If one sees a meteor or a
flame shooting at Satan in the skies in a dream, it means that there is an enemy
of God Almighty in that locality. If that person is a ruler, then his secrets will
be exposed, and if he is ajudge, it means that a just punishment will befall him
for his injustice. If one sees Satan happy in a dream, it means that he engages
in sensuality, passion and loathsome actions. In general, Satan is a weak enemy,
if one sees himself fighting him with resoluteness in a dream, it shows that he
is a religious and a pious person. If Satan swallows someone or penetrates inside
his body in dream, it means a fright, losses and sufferings. Satan in a dream also
represents builders or ocean divers who work as spies. Seeing them in a dream
also could mean backbiting or slandering. If one sees himself as a Satan in a
dream, it means that he constantly frowns with people and that he is quick to
harm them, or that he may work at cleaning sewers, or perhaps he may perish
in a fire, or die as a heedless person.
