in it. A nest in a dream also represents one’s wife, house, or the boundaries one

Jar
(Any broad-mouthed earthenware container.) In a dream, an earthenware jar
represents a deceiving employee who is entrusted with the accounting department
of one’s business. Drinking fresh water from an earthenware jar in a dream
means earning lawful money and comfort in one’s life. Drinking half of the water
contained in a jar in a dream means having consumed half one’s life span.
Drinking from a tight mouthed earthenware container in a dream also means
tempting a female worker. If one’s wife is pregnant and he sees himself carrying
an earthenware jar that falls and breaks, it means that his wife may die from
complications during her delivery or after giving birth to the newborn. In a
dream, an earthenware jar also can be interpreted as a hard-working woman,
or a servant, though a copper jar represents a noble woman. Ajar of wine in a
dream represents woman’s menstrual period. If one drinks from ajar of wine,
it means that he will have sexual intercourse with his wife during that period,
which act is forbidden in Islam. If the jar is filled with eating oil, honey, or milk,

Glass
(Clarity; Perception; Wisdom; Woman) In a dream, glass represents an
early stage of a temporary anxiety, depression or stress. Such condition is less
serious when glass is seen collected as broken chips in a container in a dream.
Seeing through glass in a dream means uncovering something that is hidden.
In a dream, all glassware, stained glass, engraved glass, or decorative glass of
green, red or yellowish color represent a suspicious person, money earned from
a suspicious source or suspicion about one’s wife, or even suspicion about one’s
true children, or it could mean eavesdropping, affectation or hypocrisy. In a
dream, any glass by-products represent people of knowledge, scholars, gnostics,
sages or people of wisdom. Buying a glittering glass ornament, or a house made
of mother of pearl in a dream means choosing the pleasures of this world over
the everlasting joy of the hereafter, or it could mean disdaining to obey God’s
commands, or it could mean becoming an apostate. A drinking glass cup in a
dream represents a woman. Receiving a glass of water in a dream means that
one's wife is pregnant. An unknown kind of glass cup or a roughly cut drinking
glass of water in a dream means that there is a fetus in the mother’s womb. If
the glass of water breaks and the water remains in the dream, it means that the
mother may die after giving birth and the infant will survive. If the water spills
and the glass remains intact in the dream, it means that the fetus may die and
the mother will survive. The breaking of a glass in a dream also denotes the
death of the one who is serving it. If a sick person is given a glass of wine, or
water, or a bitter apple drink, or a laxative in a dream such a drink represents

Necklace
(Decoration; Medal; Pendant) In a dream, woman’s necklace or earrings
if they are made of pearls represent a gift from her husband. If they are made
of silver in the dream, they mean a physical ailment, and if they are made from
beads in the dream, they mean being let down by one’s friends. A necklace in
a dream also represents women’s adornment. If a man wears a necklace that is
incrusted with gold, precious gems or sapphire in a dream, it represents a high
ranking appointment, carrying a great responsibility, or fulfilling an important
duty. If one’s decoration also carries some silver coins in the dream, it means
marriage to a beautiful woman. Wearing a decoration necklace that is made
from silver and adorned with precious gems in a dream represents a political
appointment which will be coupled with honor and wealth. If the necklace is
made from iron, it represents a political appointment that will expand one’s
power. If an ornate necklace is made of copper, then it represents mundane
profits. Wearing a necklace that is made from beads in the dream represents an
appointment with no authority. Woman’s necklace in a dream represents money
entrusted to her by her husband. As for a pregnant woman, wearing a necklace
in a dream means giving birth to a son. A broken necklace in a dream means
the impeachment of the governor of one’s town. As for a woman, a red necklace
in a dream represents a mask. A necklace for an unmarried woman in a dream

(Drinking cup; Goblet; Mug) In a dream, a drinking cup represents a woman
or a son or a servant. Golden or silver cups in a dream are better than glass cups.
A cup in a dream also denotes exposing hidden secrets. A filled cup in a dream
represents a pregnant woman, if the water disappears in the dream, it means
that she will give birth to a new child. A broken glass in a dream means death.
A broken glass in a dream also signifies the death of one’s wife. If one sees
himself carrying a glass of water, then if the glass falls and breaks, while the
water remains in his hand in the dream, it means that his wife may die soon after

deeper and a stronger meaning than seeing one’s father. All the same in one’s
dream, seeing her means attaining one’s goal. Man’s dreams are most pleasing
when he sees his parents, grand parents or a relative. If one is going through
difficulties and sees his mother in a dream, it means that help will come his way
from sources he does not anticipate. If in real life he is awaiting someone’s return
from a journey, that person could arrive shortly. If one is sick, it means that he
will be cured from his illness. If one sees his mother giving birth to him, should
he be ill in real life, then it means the approach of his death, for a deceased is
wrapped in a shroud, while a new born is wrapped with a receiving cloth. If the
person in question is poor, then seeing his mother in a dream means that his
financial conditions will change for the better. If he is rich, it means restrictions
of his earnings, for a child is dependent on others, and his movements are

in fact she is not pregnant means wealth. If a pregnant woman sees herself
giving birth to a girl in a dream, it means a boy, and if she gives birth to a boy
in the dream, it means a girl. Giving birth to a girl means relief from distress,
while giving birth to a boy in the dream means distress and worries. If a sick
person sees his mother giving birth to him in a dream, it means the approach
of his death, for a deceased person is wrapped in a shroud, while a newborn is
wrapped with a receiving cloth. If the person in question is poor, it means that
his financial conditions will change for the better, but if he is rich, it means
restriction of his earnings, for a child is dependent on others while his move¬
ments are restricted. If a traveler sees his wife giving birth to a new child in a
dream, it means obstruction of his travels and changes in his plans. If a woman
gives birth to a child from her mouth in a dream, it means her death. If a man
gives birth to a son in a dream it means illness, escape from danger or separation
from a bad wife. If a man gives birth to a daughter in a dream, it means relief
from distress, happiness or the birth of a child from his posterity who will grow
to become a renowned leader. If a woman gives birth to a cat in a dream, it means
that her child will grow to be a thief. Childbirth in a dream means relief from
hardships, recovering from illness or departure from one’s home or neighbor¬
hood. Childbirth in a dream also means comfort, relaxation, payment of one’s
debts and repentance from sin. If a woman gives birth to a son in a dream, it
denotes the conclusion of her sufferings, glad tidings, payment of her debts or
repentance from sin. If she gives birth to a daughter in the dream, then it means
honor, prosperity and ease. If a poor man gives birth to a child in a dream, it
means prosperity. If he is rich, then it means distress. If he is unmarried, it
means a forthcoming marriage, so that his future wife will give the birth he saw
in his dream. In general, if a man sees himself giving birth in a dream, it means
his death or the death of a relative, or it could mean experiencing poverty. As
for a needy person, it means relief or an escape. As for a merchant, giving birth

Roasted meat
(Grilled meat; Restaurant) To buy roasted or grilled meat from a
restaurant in a dream means enrolling one’s children in a school and entrusting
them to a good teacher to educate them and properly train them. The owner of
such a restaurant represents an educator, a trainer or a shaikh. Buying from
him in a dream also means hiring a worker who is trained at the hands of an
experienced master. If one sees himself roasting or grilling meat in a dream, it
means that he may become a tax collector, a physician, a jailer, a torturer, a
thief, or a murderer. Seeing someone roasting meat on fire in a dream may
denote a wedding, a picnic, or celebrating the birth of a new child. If the meat
is well-cooked in a dream, it means good news. Otherwise, if the meat is still
uncooked in the dream, it means a headache and stress caused by one’s son.
Roasting a whole sheep in a dream means money. Eating the meat of a roasted
sheep in a dream means money earned through one’s son. Roasting a calf in a
dream means appeasement of one’s fears, or news about one’s wife giving birth
to a son, or it could mean standing in court before a judge. Eating anything that
is touched by fire in a dream means profits. If one sees a roasted leg of sheep
talking to him in a dream, it means that he will escape from an accident, a
danger, or gain a strong foothold, or become well established in this world. A
broiled rib in a dream represents a woman, for Eve was created from Adam’s rib.
The chest represents plants and servants. The belly represents the children. A
roasted leg in a dream represents woman’s earnings that her husband regularly
swindles from her. If it is uncooked, then it means slander or backbiting. Eating
roasted or boiled meat in a dream also could mean hard earned money, fears,
sorrows, pain and sufferings, an illness, or persecution. Broiling a female sheep,
or a ewe in a dream represents an illness that may befall one’s mother, wife or
a relative. Broiling meat in a dream also means strength, marriage, health,
wealth, the arrival of a traveller, love, unity, spying, telling on others, losing all
benefits, squandering money, severing one’s relationship with his family,

(Love) In a dream, honey represents lawful money, love, prosperity, or
wealth which is accumulated from a business partnership, or from a successful
business. As for a pious person, honey in a dream represents the delight of his
religious life and good deeds, while for profane and worldly people, it means
little earnings which are acquired through toiling and hardships. If one sees the
skies raining honey in a dream, it means confirmation of the social order,
fostering proper moral standards, easiness, religious assiduity, blessings and
plenitude. Honey in a dream also could represent a husband and a wife, or their
private moment, taking a rest, or engaging in a marital relationship. However,
honey in a dream also means distress, trouble, bad-temper, jealousy, or worrying
about people’s perfidy, for honey also attracts flies and wasps. Purified honey
in a dream means relief after suffering from a depression, or recovering from a
nervous breakdown, or giving birth to a child after completing a full pregnancy,
or it could mean marrying a woman after she had observed her Iddah of either
the passing of her husband or divorce ( See Iddah), or it could represent clean
money, or earnings which are purified through paying the due alms and
charities, or it could mean knowledge that is free from innovation, doubt or
suspicion, or a final guidance after which there is no heedlessness. Purified
honey in a dream also means hard earned money, a medicine, or the embrace
and kisses of lovers. Licking honey in a dream means getting married. Eating

represents prosperity, blessings, a good harvest, a good yield, progeny, profits
from a business in textile, farming, smithcraft or similar industries. Seeing
Adam and Eve in a dream means being demoted from a station and a place of
honor to a lower rank to be raised again after repenting from one’s sin. Seeing
Eve in a dream also indicates pitfalls, sins, being subject to jealousy and
malicious fraud, or trouble with one’s neighbors. Seeing Adam and Eve in a
dream also means hardships caused by one’s wife or children, consent for sexual
intercourse, repentance or regret for one’s past. If a woman sees Eve in her
dream, it means that she will create hardships for her husband because of her
association with someone who is unsuitable for her friendship. It also means
that a major adversity will befall her, since Eve was the first to experience
female menstrual period and the pain of childbirth. It may also mean suffering
from the burden of pregnancy, labor and the pangs of giving birth. Seeing Eve
in a dream also could mean givingbirth to both righteous as well as evil children.
If the woman in the dream is separated from her husband, it may mean
re turning to her conjugal life or earning lawful income for her own needs. It also
could mean that someone from her progeny may commit murder or die as a
martyr. If a man sees Eve in a dream, it means that he may be deceived by a
woman or that he hearkens exclusively to the advice of his wife, or if he follows
a woman’s advice, it means that he will err and lose his leadership. If one sees
Eve with her beautiful countenance in a dream, then she represents his mother,
for Eve is the mother of humankind. Should he then be under the pangs of
adversities, it means that he will be saved.

in a dream also could mean having a helper. A beautiful looking young boy in
a dream also signifies good luck and victory over one’s enemy. Seeing a beautiful
looking boy in a dream means that beautiful and pleasant things will take place
in one’s life, or it could mean satisfying one’s needs. If one is called a teenager
in a dream, it signifies the necessity to take a ritual ablution, or that something
good or bad may take place in wakefulness.

Dragon
A dragon in a dream represents a tyrant and an unjust ruler, or it could
mean a killing fire. The more heads a dragon has in a dream, the greater is his
danger. If a sick person sees a dragon in his dream, it means his death. If a
pregnant woman sees herself delivering a dragon in a dream, it means that she
will give birth to a child who will be chronically ill. Giving birth to a dragon in
a dream also represents a child who will be a great speaker or who will be known
by two different names, or that he might become a fortuneteller, a monk, an evil
person, a bandit or an insolent person who will be killed later. A dragon in a
dream also connotes the stretch of time. If one sees a dragon coming his way
without causing fear, and if the dragon talks to him with clear expressions, or
if the dragon gives him something, it mean glad tidings or good news. If a giant
dragon is transformed into a man or a woman in a dream, it represents an army
of male or female jinn {see alphabetically), and a marching army of female jinns
in a dream means an enemy who conceals his true purpose or identity. Such an
enemy has many heads and ways in the arts of ugly actions and evil thinking.
Each head from one to seven represents an adversity of a different magnitude
or an art of evildoing. If the dragon in one’s dream has seven heads, it represents
an enemy that cannot be equalled and whose evil designs cannot be paralleled.
If one sees himself owning and controlling a dragon in a dream, it means taking
