(Casket; Coffin; Mummy case) A dead person or a mummy inside
a sarcophagus in a dream represents unlawful money. If the coffin is empty in
the dream, then it represents a house of evil, or an evil person who is sought by

Coffin
(Arc) In a dream, a coffin means a great wealth. If one sees himself hiding
inside a coffin in a dream, it means fearing one’s enemy and that one is incapable
of facing him, though this element in a dream also could mean salvation or
escape from dangers that will follow. If one sees himself riding on top of a coffin
in a dream, it means that either his name is mentioned in a will, or that he will
face a dispute regarding an inheritance that will turn to his advantage. If one
is given a coffin in a dream, it means that he is given knowledge, peacefulness
and dignity. A coffin in a dream also represents stress and worries or a travelling
vehicle. A miller’s flour mixing container which traditionally used to look like
a coffin in a dream represents a just man or a man of knowledge and a true guide.

Cemetery
(Burial ground; Grave; Graveyard) Seeing a cemetery or a graveyard
in a dream means appeasement and comfort for a terrified person, and dismay
to a comfortable and a relaxed person. A graveyard represents the elements of
fear, hope and return to guidance after heedlessness. A cemetery represents the
hereafter, because it is its vehicle. A cemetery in a dream also represents the
prison of the body, but in a dream, it also means seclusion, devotion, abstinence,
asceticism or admonition. A cemetery also can be interpreted as the dead looking
drunkard in a bar, a man laying flat in a prostitution house, the home of a
heedless person who often sleeps rather than pray or a hypocrite whose deeds
are not subject to receiving a heavenly reward, etcetera. If a sick person walks
into a funeral procession in a dream, it means that his illness will culminate in
his death. If he is not sick and then during that procession he weeps or prays
for the deceased person in the dream, it means that he will repent of his sins,
join spiritual study circles and serves the people of knowledge. Such a person
also may attain a blessed spiritual station and benefit from what he hears and
sees. If one sees himself walking in a funeral procession and neglecting respect
and contemplation, and instead laughs and jokes, it means that he will befriend
evildoers and accept their evil conduct as a standard norm of behavior. If one
sees himself visiting a graveyard for seclusion, self-awakening and self-re¬
straint, then if he reflects about words of truth, wisdom and repentance in his
dream, it means that he will be asked to judge between two people, and that he
will rule with justice. If one does not contemplate thus in the dream, it means
that he will forget about something important or dear to his heart. If one enters
the graveyard calling to prayers in a dream, it means that he will admonish
people, commands what is good and forbids what is evil. If one sees himself
entering a graveyard and walking over the scattered bones of the dead people
in a dream, it means that he will die and be buried there. A cemetery in a dream
also represents admonition, reading the Quran, crying, reminiscence, piety,
surrender to one’s destiny and discarding worldly gains. A cemetery in a dream
also may represent the scholars, ascetics, governors, leaders, camps or a brothel.
The graves of saints or shrines in a dream signify innovation, heedlessness,
intoxication, adultery, corruption and fear. A stone tomb or a sarcophagus in a
dream signifies profits, war prisoners, a booty or exposing one’s personal
secrets. (Also see Burial; Grave; Shrine)

Grave
(Burial; Tomb; Sepulcher) A grave in a dream represents a prison and a
prison in a dream represents a grave. If one sees himself living in a grave in a
dream, it means that he will be incarcerated in a prison. Building a grave in a
dream means building a house. If one enters a grave but does not witness a
funeral in his dream, it means that he will buy a house. Digging a grave in a
dream means getting married, though through tricking the woman to get her
consent. Standing over a grave in a dream means committing a sin. If one sees
himself digging a grave and upon completing his work, if he discovers that what
he has dug is standing on the surface of the earth and has no walls in the dream,
such ground represents the abode of the hereafter. If he then enters it in his
dream, it signifies that his life term in this world has come to its conclusion. If
he does not enter it in the dream, then there are no consequences to his dream.
Seeing a known grave in a dream is a proof of what is true and a sign of what
will unfailingly come. An unknown grave in a dream represents a hypocrite.
Building a tomb on the roof of one’s house means longevity. Visiting the
graveyard in a dream means visiting people in prison. Raining over the graves
in a dream means blessings from God Almighty upon the people of the graves.
Graves in a dream also represent distant travels, bewilderment, a wife, or they
could mean a prison. Filling a grave with dirt in a dream means longevity and
living a healthy life. Seeing oneself buried alive in a dream means a calamity,
tightening of one’s means or imprisonment. Seeing oneself buried alive and
wearing one’s shroud in a dream also could mean marriage. To unearth
someone’s grave in a dream means seeking to pursue his trade. If it is the grave
of a scholar, then it means wanting to acquire his knowledge. If it is the grave
of a rich person in the dream, then it means becoming rich or receiving an
inheritance. If one sees the deceased person alive in his grave in a dream, it
means that such money will constitute unlawful earnings, while in the first
instance, the knowledge or wisdom one is seeking will be true, except if the
person in the grave is dead in the dream. A stone tomb or a sarcophagus in a
dream means profits, a war prisoner, a booty or exposing one’s personal secrets.

Glass blower
A glass blower in a dream represents happiness in one’s life, clarity
of one’s thoughts, understanding others’ pitfalls, handling ignorant people with
wisdom, exposing secrets, or seeing him could mean paying for one’s crime.
Glass bottle: A glass bottle in a dream represents a servant, a housekeeper, a son
or a woman. A glass bottle in a dream also represents a woman who does not
keep a secret, a slanderous companion, sickness, an adulteress or a prostitute.
A glass bottle filled with oil in a dream represents a woman and her makeup.
If one grooms his hair with oil from such a bottle in a dream, it means adorning
himself or being proud about his love for such a woman. If the oil spills over one’s
face during the process of applying it in the dream, it means that he will suffer
from distress. The broken chips of a glass bottle in a dream represent money.
A urine testing tube in a dream represents a prostitute. Thus, if one sees himself

woman who could suffer from hemorrhaging though she will deliver her child
safely. Glass bottles of different colors and sizes in a dream represent people of
different nationalities. A glass bottle in a dream also could mean exposing
people’s secret life or slandering disloyal people. If a glass bottle falls and breaks
inside one’s house in a dream, it means avoiding corruption or escaping from
temptation that could take place inside such a house. (Also see Bottle)

Old woman
In a dream, an old woman represents the ending of one’s life in this
world, sorrows, the hereafter, wine, or bearing children after having lost hope in
one’s fertility. An old woman in a dream also could represent deceit, cunningness,
duplicity, backbiting, or slander. Seeing an old and sick woman in a dream may
mean impotence, weakness, or disability. Seeing a thirsty old woman in a dream
means drought. If she turns a young girl in the dream, then she represents rain.
If an unknown old woman visits a sick person in a dream, it means his death.
Otherwise, if an unknown old woman visits a pregnant woman in a dream, it
means giving her the glad tidings of a son. If one is engaged in an important project
and sees himself sleeping with an old woman in a dream, it means that his project
will not succeed. An old woman in a dream also represents non-arable land. If one
sees her wearing a veil in the dream, it means that he will meet with hardships
and regret. If one sees an ugly old woman, or a hag in a dream, it means adversities
and war. If a young woman sees herself as an old woman in a dream, it means
earning respect and dignity. An unknown old woman in a dream also represents
a bad crop for that year. If one sees an old woman descending from the skies and
people are wondering about her, she represents the passing year. Seeing an ugly
old woman in a dream also could mean glad tidings of an ending war, or the end
of drought. An emaciated old woman in a dream represents a year of drought. If
she gains weight and turns beautiful in the dream, she represents changes in the
weather conditions, bringing a prosperous and a happy end for the farmers in that
year. An ostentatious old woman in a dream represents a prosperous life, or good
news that will arrive shortly. If she looks frowning or unhappy in the dream, then
she represents distress and loss of prestige. If she looks ugly in the dream, she
represents facing adverse conditions. If she is naked in the dream, she represents
a scandal. If an old woman enters a house in a dream, it means prosperity and
business success and if she leaves a house in the dream, it means the opposite.
An unknown old woman in a dream has a stronger connotation than a known old
woman. If one sees himself frequenting an old woman in a dream, his dream
denotes his attachment to worldly gains. If an old woman who passed her
menopause sees herself in a dream experiencing her menstrual period again and
regaining her sexual drive, and if she sees herself engaged in sexual intercourse
in the dream, it means that she will become religious and have strong material
and spiritual success in her life if her sexual intercourse in the dream is marital
intercourse and of a lawful nature. Otherwise, if it is unlawful, then it represents
her attachment to worldly gains and neglects for her spiritual values. If a young
woman sees herself being an old woman in a dream, it means that she will prosper
and have a successful marital life.
