(Infertile; Sterile) Impotence in a dream means protection from sin,
asceticism, abstinence and renouncing the pleasures of this world. If one sees
himself castrated in a dream, it means that he will gain power and fame. If one
marries a woman and finds himself incapable of performing sexual intercourse
with her in a dream, it means that he will engage in a commerce without a
capital.

Mattress
(Bed; Sleeping pad) In a dream, a mattress represents comfort or a
woman. Selling one’s mattress in a dream means divorcing one’s wife. If one’s
wife is sick, then selling one’s mattress means that she may die from her illness.
If one sees a dog or a pig sleeping on his mattress in a dream, it means that an
insolent person is having a secret affair with one’s wife. If the mattress is stuffed
with wool, cotton, or down in the dream, it represents a wealthy woman. If the
mattress is made of brocade or silk in the dream, it represents a Hindu woman.
If the color of the mattress is white in the dream, it represents a religious and
a pious wife. A green mattress in a dream represents a pious and a religious
wife. A black mattress in the dream represents a woman who is engaged in
doing something for other than God’s pleasure. Buying a new and a beautiful-
looking mattress in a dream means marriage to a chaste and a beautiful woman.
If the new mattress is torn or damaged in the dream, it means living with an
impious woman. Changing the place of one’s bed in a dream means divorce. If
one finds himself unable to sleep on his bed in a dream, it means that he cannot
have marital relationship with his wife, or perhaps he could be suffering from
impotence. If one tears his mattress in pieces in a dream, it means that he will
commit adultery. If he sees his mattress placed in front of the city hall in a
dream, it means that he may assume an important political appointment. An
unknown mattress in an unknown place in a dream means buying, receiving,
or inheriting a farmland. A mattress in a dream also means bearing a son.
Changing one’s mattress in a dream means leaving one’s wife for the sake of
another woman. If one does not like to sleep on his mattress in a dream and
prefers to find another place to rest, it means that he will renounce his conjugal
life. Folding one’s mattress and placing it aside in a dream means leaving one’s
home for a long journey, divorcing one’s wife, or avoiding to sleep with her for
one reason or another, or it could mean the death of either the husband or the
wife. Sitting over one’s bed in a dream means gaining authority, or managing
someone’s business. Sleeping in a dream means heedlessness, or it could mean

Feebleness
Feebleness in a dream means strength. However, if one sees himself
debilitated or emaciated in the dream, then it means weakness in his faith,
failure to properly observe his religious obligations, or it could mean sterility,
impotence, or sorrow and distress.

Castration
If one intends to bank something with someone as a trust or to confide
a secret with someone, then if he witnesses a case of castration in a dream, he
should immediately halt that intention, or cancel such arrangement. If one sees
himself castrated in his dream, it means that he declines to testifying to the
truth. If one finds that he became castrated, or if he does so to himself in a dream,
it means that he will be inflicted with humiliation and submission to someone’s
command. If one meets a castrated person who is unknown to him and who has
a dignified look and speaks words of wisdom in the dream, it means that he has
met an angle who is conveying glad tidings or bringing a warning from his Lord.
If he recognizes the castrated person in his dream, it means that he has met with
an acquaintance of his. Seeing oneself castrated in a dream also means increase
in one’s devotion and guarding of his chastity. Castration in a dream also means
negation of favors, loss of one’s family or children, or it may imply absence of
mannerism, choosing to satisfy one’s personal comfort over the interests of

Well
In a dream, a well inside one’s house means prosperity, riches, a wife,
business, a teacher, poverty, deception, fulfillment of one’s needs, travels, goals,
stinginess, generosity, or it could mean a servant. The structural condition of
each well in a dream has its own interpretation. A well in a dream also represent
a woman who has a loud laughter, or it could represent a pleasant and an in¬
spiring woman. If a woman sees a well in a dream, it means meeting a man of
good character. If one sees himself looking into a well in a dream, it means that
he is thinking about a particular woman for marriage. A well in a dream is also
interpreted to represent knowledge, marriage, a big man, prison, ties, or
deception. If one digs a well and finds water in it in his dream, it means that
he will marry a wealthy woman whom he will deceive. If the water gushes forth,
rises and runs outside of an old well in the dream, it represents crying and grief
in that place. Digging a well and finding water to channel for one’s garden in
a dream means taking an herbal remedy to cure one’s impotence, or to save his
marriage. Falling into a well of muddy waters in a dream means that one may
become subject to the tyranny of an unjust ruler. If the water he falls into is clear
in the dream, it means that he will willingly work to serve a righteous man and
for a nominal wage. Falling into a well in a dream also means demotion, or it
could mean travels. Sitting at the edge of a well in a dream means dealing with
a deceiving person. A collapsed well in a dream represents a dying woman.
Reaching a well which is dug for the general public to draw from its water means
getting relief after suffering from difficulties. Finding a well adjacent to a
barmaid in a dream means finding a spiritual teacher, or joining a fellowship
and a school for the seekers. If one sees the well of Zamzam quenching the thirst
of people in a particular neighborhood other than Mecca in a dream, it means
that a gnostic will come to that town, and whose knowledge and wisdom will
greatly benefit its people. It also may denote the bounty and blessings which are
imparted to that town, or it could denote the victory of its people over their real
enemy. Drinking from such a well in a dream means fulfillment of one’s
intentions and satisfaction of his needs. In a dream, a well also means a prison
or depression. If one is in such a state, it means that his adversities will
dissipate, and that he will reestablish himself in the circles of people in
authority. If the person in the dream is a seer who predicts events, then he may
be involved in the circles of governors, particularly to interpret their dreams.
It is possible that he also might receive emissaries of notable people who will
bring him what pleases him. It also could mean a fight in one’s family involving
jealousy, envy, betrayal, though at the end one will triumph over them. Falling
into a well in a dream also means being indicted in an alleged crime from which
one is clearly innocent. A well in a dream is also interpreted as levying taxes,
or it could mean circumcision. Digging a well in a dream also represents a crafty
and an artful deceiver.

Old woman
In a dream, an old woman represents the ending of one’s life in this
world, sorrows, the hereafter, wine, or bearing children after having lost hope in
one’s fertility. An old woman in a dream also could represent deceit, cunningness,
duplicity, backbiting, or slander. Seeing an old and sick woman in a dream may
mean impotence, weakness, or disability. Seeing a thirsty old woman in a dream
means drought. If she turns a young girl in the dream, then she represents rain.
If an unknown old woman visits a sick person in a dream, it means his death.
Otherwise, if an unknown old woman visits a pregnant woman in a dream, it
means giving her the glad tidings of a son. If one is engaged in an important project
and sees himself sleeping with an old woman in a dream, it means that his project
will not succeed. An old woman in a dream also represents non-arable land. If one
sees her wearing a veil in the dream, it means that he will meet with hardships
and regret. If one sees an ugly old woman, or a hag in a dream, it means adversities
and war. If a young woman sees herself as an old woman in a dream, it means
earning respect and dignity. An unknown old woman in a dream also represents
a bad crop for that year. If one sees an old woman descending from the skies and
people are wondering about her, she represents the passing year. Seeing an ugly
old woman in a dream also could mean glad tidings of an ending war, or the end
of drought. An emaciated old woman in a dream represents a year of drought. If
she gains weight and turns beautiful in the dream, she represents changes in the
weather conditions, bringing a prosperous and a happy end for the farmers in that
year. An ostentatious old woman in a dream represents a prosperous life, or good
news that will arrive shortly. If she looks frowning or unhappy in the dream, then
she represents distress and loss of prestige. If she looks ugly in the dream, she
represents facing adverse conditions. If she is naked in the dream, she represents
a scandal. If an old woman enters a house in a dream, it means prosperity and
business success and if she leaves a house in the dream, it means the opposite.
An unknown old woman in a dream has a stronger connotation than a known old
woman. If one sees himself frequenting an old woman in a dream, his dream
denotes his attachment to worldly gains. If an old woman who passed her
menopause sees herself in a dream experiencing her menstrual period again and
regaining her sexual drive, and if she sees herself engaged in sexual intercourse
in the dream, it means that she will become religious and have strong material
and spiritual success in her life if her sexual intercourse in the dream is marital
intercourse and of a lawful nature. Otherwise, if it is unlawful, then it represents
her attachment to worldly gains and neglects for her spiritual values. If a young
woman sees herself being an old woman in a dream, it means that she will prosper
and have a successful marital life.
