In a dream, listening to the Quran, or to the teachings of God’s Prophet,
upon whom be peace, or to words of wisdom, or to an admonition, or a discourse
of knowledge in a dream means receiving guidance, and it means turning
repentantly to God Almighty. Otherwise, if one sees himself listening to
backbiting, slandering, defamation, or eavesdropping in a dream, then it means
that some harm will befall him. Listening to good advice and following its best
guidance in a dream means receiving good news. Eavesdropping in a dream
means that one intends to defame the other person. Listening, though pretending
not to hear what is being said in a dream means that one makes it a habit to
lie. The sound of a crowd in a dream means money beside other benefits. The
bleating of sheep in a dream means distress and fear. The neighing of horses in
a dream means might and honor. The barking of a dog in a dream means vein
talk and meddling in people’s business. The sound of a lynx in a dream means

with money in a dream means listening to a filthy conversation, or imperson¬
ating someone. Money in a dream also means vain talk, or missing one’s
prayers. If one sees himself swallowing a coin of money in a dream, it means
that he will betray his trust. Money in a dream is also interpreted as knowledge,
faith, guidance, or becoming a government employee. Giving money away in a
dream means dispelling agony, difficulties or burdens. If one receives money
in his dream, it means that he is entrusted with something. Handling one to
four coins in a dream is a lucky number. Money in a dream is also interpreted
as women’s talk. Having a lot of money in a dream means disputes. Receiving
money from a known source in a dream means stress. If the source is unknown
in the dream, it means a calamity. If one receives an engraved coin in a dream,
it means that he may be hurt by his own family, or for the sake of a protegd of
his. If one sees a deceased person giving him a coin of money in a dream, it
means that he will be spared from an unjust trial. If he refuses to take the
money from the deceased person in the dream, it means that he should beware
not to be unjust toward others or fall prey to their injustice. If one who has ten

(Fruit) In a dream, a fruit salesman represents a trustworthy
person who is entrusted with people’s money and confidentiality. In dream
interpretation, a fruit salesman also represents a good person unless he takes

(Planet; Woman) In a dream, the planet Venus represents a beautiful
woman. Seeing the planet Venus in a dream means getting married to an
attractive and a beautiful woman of no kinship to him, though her beauty will
lead many people into temptation. The planet Venus in a dream also could mean
allegations, playfulness, complaisance, jokes, images, idolatry, jewelry, nudity,
pictures of beautiful women, or it could mean beautiful clothing. Seeing the
planet Venus in a dream also means allegations, accusations, or that one may
pursue any of the aforementioned elements, or he may establish a friendship
with someone who follows such avenues, or perhaps he may marry an attractive

sents people’s common business, double-dealing, scrupulousness, adultery,
playing chess, sorcery, a medium, evocation of spirits, calling on jinn spirits,
being possessed by jinns or similar effects. A banjo in a dream also represents
the leader of such a band of people and it denotes distress and sorrows. Playing
a banjo with strings made from animals’ intestines in a dream also represents
a wise man admonishing or reprimanding people. Playing a banjo in a dream

Elderly person
An unknown elderly person in a dream represents one’s good luck,
happiness and one’s assiduity and diligence. If the unknown elderly person
looks strong in the dream, he represents one’s strength. Otherwise, if he looks
feeble, then he represents one’s weakness. Whatever physical conditions an
elderly person is seen with in the dream, such condition will reflect in one’s own
state. If an elderly person comes toward the person seeing the dream, it means
that someone will help him attain a praiseworthy rank. If one follows an elderly
person in a dream, it means that he follows a good path. If one sees an elderly
person and displeases him in the dream, it means that he will displease a close
friend or reject his advice. If he pleases him in the dream, it means that he will
consent with a close good friend and they will walk together on the path to reap
material as well as spiritual benefits. If one sees a gathering of friendly people
but could not determine whether they are young or elderly in a dream, it means
that he will discover new avenues in his life and he will draw material and
spiritual benefits from them. If he sees a gathering of young people he does not
recognize in the dream, it means that he will associate himself with rich people.
If he sees a gathering of elderly people he does not recognize in the dream, it
means that he will associate himself with good friends. If a woman sees an
elderly person she could not recognize in the dream, he represents the world.
If a young man sees himself turned into an elderly person in a dream, it means
that he will acquire knowledge and wisdom. Listening to a good looking elderly
person in a dream means receiving honor and rank. If an elderly person sees
himself turned young in a dream, it represents his strength, wealth, good living
and a healthy life, or it could mean material or religious losses, or it could mean
his death. If an elderly person sees himself beingborn again in a dream, it means
his death. If he is ill, it could represent his attachment to the world, and if he
is poor, it could denote his earning. If an elderly person sees himself as a youth

Fountain
In a dream, a fountain placed in a suitable place or as a decorative item
in the middle of a yard or a park represents honor, dignity, dispelling worries
or adversities, hearing good news or listening to good music, squandering
money, dispersal of one’s interests, breaking a gathering, or adding and sub¬
tracting if seen near an accountant. A fountain in a dream also means avoiding
evil actions. If one is told that such a fountain is a blessed one in the dream, it
means the opposite, and should one wash himself with its water or drink from
it in a dream, it means depression and trouble. A fountain in a dream also could
represent a beautiful, rich and a noble woman. If no water is coming from the
fountainhead in the dream, then it represents a poor woman or a barren woman.

Fountainhead: A fountainhead in a dream represents blessings, grace, bounty and
attaining one’s goal. If one sees many springs gushing forth inside his own house
in a dream, and if he is not a discrete person, it represents a calamity that will
bringhim and his family to their knees with sorrow and tears. If one sees himself
taking a ritual ablution for prayers from a fountainhead in a dream, it means
that he will receive lawful money. Discovering a fountainhead in a dream means
prosperity. If the spring gushes forth inside one’s house or from the walls of one’s
house in the dream, then it means a calamity or a misfortune that will be caused
by a woman, a brother or a brother in-law. If the water flows into the street in
a dream, it means that such a calamity or adversity will leave that house and
peace will finally prevail. If the water is pure and clean in the dream, it means
depression along with a strong and a healthy body. What is disliked in such
dreams is the murky water. If one owns a stream in a dream, it represents one’s
livelihood, his shop, business, work, or one’s good deeds that remain beneficial
even after his death and until the Day of Judgment such as a blessed progeny,
a school or a mosque he builds, a road he opens, a book of knowledge he leaves

means collecting one’s profits or rents. If one sees a rivulet carrying pure and
sweet water to his house in a dream, it means profits, easy life and blessings that

In a dream, eavesdropping means backbiting and lies. Perhaps
the one who is eavesdropping on others may become despised by the ruler or his
superior. On the other hand, if one sees himself in a dream inadvertently
listening to a conversation, and if the one seeing the dream is a merchant, it
means that he will resign from the leadership of his business, and if he is a ruler,
it means that he will be removed from his post. If one sees himself harkening
to another person in a dream, it means that he desires to defame him or expose
his pitfalls. If one sees himself listening to some talks of which he follows the
better avenues in the dream, it means that he will receive glad tidings. If one

Poem
Memorizing a poem or a verse from a poem in a dream means engaging in
a business from which one will acquire great knowledge, or it could mean profits
or success in whatever trade one chooses to practice. If one sees himself in a court
of justice reciting poems for money in the dream, it means that he will give a
false testimony. If he recites a poem for a gathering in a dream, it means that
he will relate a wise saying, though he himself inclines to hypocrisy. If one sees
himself listening to a poem in a dream, it means that he will associate himself
with a group of people who do not foster the truth. In a dream, poems also
represent falsehood or vain talk. Reciting a poem or listening to one and
memorizing its verses in a dream means that one should take heed to what it
says. If the poem one is listening to in his dream contains wisdom or a divine
revelation, then it does mean good. Composing a poem, or memorizing it in a
dream also means losing one’s status, dismissal from one’s job, weakness in
one’s religious adherence, suffering from depression, adversities, suffering from
slander by one’s enemy, or it could represent a crafty ploy. If one composes a
defamatory poem or a satirical poem in a dream, it means that he slanders
others for fun or profit. If it is lauding someone, then it means that he will
become poor. If he sings his poem with a melody in the dream, it represents a

they indicate verses of mercy in the dream, it means that he will receive it, and
if they carry admonition in the dream, and unless one immediately repents,

station, gaining power, repenting from sins, prosperity, paying one’s debts,
witnessing the truth, or delivering a trust to its rightful owner. Recitingthe holy
Quran with a beautiful voice in a dream means honor, dignity and good fame.
Reading the holy Quran and adding one’s own words to it in a dream means
wavering from the truth, or betraying one’s promise or covenant. If in the latter
case one does not understand the meaning of what he is saying in the dream,
it means that he will give a false testimony in a court of justice, or that he will
be involved in something evil the consequences of which cannot be foreseen. If
one sees people listening to his recital of the Quran in a dream, it means that
he will command a job, and that people will follow his instructions. Hearing, or
reading any Quranic chapter which is customarily read for a deceased person
in a dream, signifies the death of a sick person in that family. Professional
Quran readers in a dream represent the leading people of the society. To hear
a professional Quranic recital in a dream means that people in authority will
soon gather in the place where the recital is seen in one’s dream. If one sees
himself reading his book of records on the Day of Judgment in a dream, and if
he is an unlettered person in wakefulness, it means that he will become rich
after having suffered from poverty, and that he will answer all the questions
he will be asked on the Day of Reckoning, or that he will be protected by God
Almighty from what he fears most. This happens if one’s reading of his own
records is positive, but if it reads his sins and pitfalls in the dream, then it
