Clay
(Argillite; Argillateous; Mortar; Mud; Plaster) In a dream, clay means
sickness, disgrace or ignominy, except for one who works with clay or builds
structures with it, then in his case, seeing clay in his dream means benefits,
religious awareness and developing faith and certitude. Dry clay in a dream
represents a cut in one’s earnings or living on a budget. If one sees himself
plastering the walls of his house with wet clay in a dream, it means that he is
a righteous person. If one sees himself eating clay in a dream, it means that he
swindles money. Construction clay in a dream means benefits and money.
Seeing clay in a dream also could mean death. If one sees himself waking in mud
or wet clay, and if he works with it in a dream, it means falling sick or suffering
from disgrace. Dry clay in a dream means money, while wet clay means
righteousness. Eating baked clay in a dream means backbiting others, untruth

Sludge

Dominance) In a dream, a sludge means good news and particularly if one
cannot find clean water near it. If a poor person trips into sludge in a dream,
it means that his will satisfy his needs. If an unmarried person sees sludge in
his dream, it means that he will get married, and he will have a family, a father-
in-law and a mother-in-law. Though this gain of his will be accompanied with
trials and difficulties. Nevertheless, it will also remain under control.

Dwellings
(Cage; Clothing; House; Luck; Robe) In a dream, dwellings are man’s
abode or his world. One’s dwellings in a dream are a reflection of his deeds in
wakefulness. If one finds himself in a newly built house which is freshly painted
and has all the needed amenities and comforts in a dream, it means prosperity.
If he is a poor person, then it means that he will meet his financial obligations
with ease. If he is under stress, it means that he will become free from such
burdens. If he is a craftsman, it means that he will master his craft or acquire
authority equal in dominance to the beauty and perfection, size and details of
such a dwelling he saw in the dream. If he is in sin, it means that he will repent.
The spaciousness or tightness of one’s dwellings in a dream represents his
finances, knowledge, sharing, hospitality and generosity. If one’s own dwellings
looked renovated in a dream, it means regaining or developing one’s business
for the better. Its fresh paint means fulfilling one’s religious commitments. Its
tiles or marble floors represent his pleasures or wife. Dwellings of solid iron cast
means longevity and authority. If one enters an unknown house and finds
departed souls dwelling therein in a dream, it means that he has entered the
realms of the hereafter. If such dwellings are built of mud or plaster, this will
be a reflection on his adverse conditions. If one enters such dwellings, then
walks out of it in a dream, it means that he will become sick and nearly die of
his illness before he recovers from it. If one walks out of it angry in a dream, it
means that he will be imprisoned. If he sees someone entering his house in a
dream, it means that someone will know his intimate life, or that an insolent
person will become a close family friend, then betray his trust and have a secret
affairs with one’s wife. If one sees his dwellings crumbling or caving in on him
in a dream, it means that he will receive an inheritance from the belongings of
a deceased relative. Building a dwelling for oneself or for others in a dream
means the death of a relative or of one’s child, or it could mean divorcing one’s
wife. Dwellings in a dream also represent a transient station. If the dwelling is
built from an unsuitable construction material in the dream, it means that one’s
source of income is unlawful. One’s dwellings in a dream also represent his
physical form, carnal self and substance. Demolishing a new home in a dream

Digging
(Excavate) Digging the earth in a dream means profits equal to the
measure of earth one piles-up if the dirt is dry. However, if the ground is wet
in the dream, it means deceiving someone else in a business venture, whereby,
he gains nothing from it but headache and exhaustion equal to the amount of
earth he piles-up. The digger’s plot also may backfire. If a sick person or if
someone in his household who is sick sees himself digging the earth in a dream,
it could mean digging a grave. If a business traveller sees himself digging the
earth, it represents his travels and the dirt he gathers represent his profits.
Digging a hole, a water well or irrigations and planing to water the plants
through them in a dream means looking for a job to earn one’s livelihood and
to bring its benefits to his family. Eating from the dirt one digs in his dream,
means profits earned from deception. Finding oneself inside a hole in a dream
means that one may divorce his wife. If one sees himself outside a hole, looking
at it in a dream, it means an argument with her which will end in reconciliation.
If a sick person sees himself coming out of a hole in a dream, it means recovering
from illness or being set free from prison. If one sees himself digging the earth
in a dream, it also means muddling in falsehood to earn nothing but wrath.
Digging a cavity through a mountain in a dream represents a person who
associates himself with a difficult but a beneficial person. Digging a well in a
dream also represents a crafty and an artful deceiver. A person digging the
ground in a dream also represents a jailer, or veiling abominable actions. (Also

Hand mill
(Laboring; Livelihood; Millstone; Travel) A hand mill in a dream means
overcoming distress, pain, or satisfying one’s needs. It could also mean richness
after poverty, marriage, a servant, or moving into a new house. If someone sees
a hand mill in a house that is not accustomed to grinding its own grain or spices
in a dream, it means adversities, defeat, or arguments. If one then grinds bread,
or meat or honey with in the dream, it denotes a despicable character of the
people of that house, their falsehood, affectation, lesbian or pervert nature. If
one sees a hand mill grinding stones in a dream, it means that he will be seized
by terror. If one grinds barley or grains for food in a dream, it means solving the
family’s problems, prosperity, recovering from illness, or refurbishing one’s
business. If one sees a huge hand mill in the center of a town in adream.it means
war and destruction and especially if he sees it grinding rocks or emitting fire
or sparks. Otherwise, it means a plague if the hand mill is grinding spoiled and
moldy grains, mud, or spoiled meat. If one sees the millstone tilted in a dream,
it means rising prices. If the hand mill is turning with nothing to grind in the
dream, it means toiling aimlessly. If the hand mill turns using a wheel in the
dream, it means prosperity. If one sees the hand mill turning and not grinding
in a dream, it means travels. If it turns for no useful purpose in a dream, it
denotes the nearing of one’s death. A pair of small hand grinders in a dream
represent two loathsome partners that no one can correct or guide. If one sees
himself operating a millstone by hand in a dream, it means that he earns his
livelihood following the required religious conduct, and earns his money from
his own sweat. A millstone in a dream also may denote loathsome actions. If a
prisoner sees a broken millstone in a dream, it means that he will be soon
released, and if he is under a death sentence, it means that the judgment will
be rescinded, or that he may die before the judgment is carried out. As far as
the question of livelihood, the better looking and effective is the hand mill, the
better are one’s earnings and vice-versa. If one buys a hand mill in a dream, it
means that he will get married, or that he will marry off his daughter, or that
he will travel on business. If the millstone is interpreted to mean a husband or
a wife, then it represents respectful people. A hand mill in a dream also means
comfort, relief, evil, fight, dispute, wife, servant, livelihood, travels, gourmandism,

Mire
(Mud) To sink, stick, or walk in mire in a dream means fear, distress,
difficulties and adversities. The same interpretation is given for muddling in the
rainwaters, or walking in the rain. If a sick person sees mire in his dream, it
means suffering from a prolonged illness. Walking out of mire in a dream means
recovering from an illness. Walking in mire in a dream also means imprison¬
ment, poverty, or sufferings caused by one’s sinfulness and lack of attending to
his religious duties. If a woman sees mire in her dream, it may mean that she
may shortly conceive a child. In a dream, mire also means stagnation, disrupting
communications, the past, pride about one’s wealth, or it could mean apostasy.
If the color of mud turns from black into red in a dream, it means moving from
one’s country to another, or from one wife to another. During a drought, if one
sees mire or mud in his dream, it means rain. Mire inside a well in a dream
means an inheritance, or the surfacing of blessings, or any related interpre¬
tations to what a well represents in a dream.

(Pearl fishery; Plunge) If one sees himself diving into the ocean for pearls
in a dream, it indicates his attachment to worldly treasures. If one sees himself
diving into the waters and finds out that he could get nothing out of it except
mud in his dream, it means distress caused by someone in authority. If one
brings a pearl out of the water in a dream, it means marriage or acquiring
knowledge or discovering a treasure. If one dives into a river and finds it difficult
to come out of the waters in the dream, it means that he will suffer from burdens
he cannot carry, or bear patience with adversities. Diving into the ocean to
extract pearls from oysters in a dream also means seeking knowledge or wealth.

Tattoo
If a person sees his hands tattooed with henna in a dream, it means that
he cheats to earn his livelihood, or that he tricks others to get what he needs.
Consequently, he will be exposed and his enemy will rejoice at his misfortune.
If a woman sees her hands tattooed in a dream, it means that she will trick
someone to repossess her rightfully owned jewelry. If the tattoo is made with
gold in the dream, it means performing an old but a polite trick. If the tattoo is
done with mud in the dream, it means praising God Almighty. If a woman sees
the lines of her tattoo mixing together, or as though the dye has started to run
in the dream, it means difficulties with her children. If a man sees his feet dyed
and tattooed in a dream, it means that he will be tried with family problems.
If a woman sees her feet dyed and tattooed in a dream, it means that she will

Well
In a dream, a well inside one’s house means prosperity, riches, a wife,
business, a teacher, poverty, deception, fulfillment of one’s needs, travels, goals,
stinginess, generosity, or it could mean a servant. The structural condition of
each well in a dream has its own interpretation. A well in a dream also represent
a woman who has a loud laughter, or it could represent a pleasant and an in¬
spiring woman. If a woman sees a well in a dream, it means meeting a man of
good character. If one sees himself looking into a well in a dream, it means that
he is thinking about a particular woman for marriage. A well in a dream is also
interpreted to represent knowledge, marriage, a big man, prison, ties, or
deception. If one digs a well and finds water in it in his dream, it means that
he will marry a wealthy woman whom he will deceive. If the water gushes forth,
rises and runs outside of an old well in the dream, it represents crying and grief
in that place. Digging a well and finding water to channel for one’s garden in
a dream means taking an herbal remedy to cure one’s impotence, or to save his
marriage. Falling into a well of muddy waters in a dream means that one may
become subject to the tyranny of an unjust ruler. If the water he falls into is clear
in the dream, it means that he will willingly work to serve a righteous man and
for a nominal wage. Falling into a well in a dream also means demotion, or it
could mean travels. Sitting at the edge of a well in a dream means dealing with
a deceiving person. A collapsed well in a dream represents a dying woman.
Reaching a well which is dug for the general public to draw from its water means
getting relief after suffering from difficulties. Finding a well adjacent to a
barmaid in a dream means finding a spiritual teacher, or joining a fellowship
and a school for the seekers. If one sees the well of Zamzam quenching the thirst
of people in a particular neighborhood other than Mecca in a dream, it means
that a gnostic will come to that town, and whose knowledge and wisdom will
greatly benefit its people. It also may denote the bounty and blessings which are
imparted to that town, or it could denote the victory of its people over their real
enemy. Drinking from such a well in a dream means fulfillment of one’s
intentions and satisfaction of his needs. In a dream, a well also means a prison
or depression. If one is in such a state, it means that his adversities will
dissipate, and that he will reestablish himself in the circles of people in
authority. If the person in the dream is a seer who predicts events, then he may
be involved in the circles of governors, particularly to interpret their dreams.
It is possible that he also might receive emissaries of notable people who will
bring him what pleases him. It also could mean a fight in one’s family involving
jealousy, envy, betrayal, though at the end one will triumph over them. Falling
into a well in a dream also means being indicted in an alleged crime from which
one is clearly innocent. A well in a dream is also interpreted as levying taxes,
or it could mean circumcision. Digging a well in a dream also represents a crafty
and an artful deceiver.
