station, gaining power, repenting from sins, prosperity, paying one’s debts,
witnessing the truth, or delivering a trust to its rightful owner. Recitingthe holy
Quran with a beautiful voice in a dream means honor, dignity and good fame.
Reading the holy Quran and adding one’s own words to it in a dream means
wavering from the truth, or betraying one’s promise or covenant. If in the latter
case one does not understand the meaning of what he is saying in the dream,
it means that he will give a false testimony in a court of justice, or that he will
be involved in something evil the consequences of which cannot be foreseen. If
one sees people listening to his recital of the Quran in a dream, it means that
he will command a job, and that people will follow his instructions. Hearing, or
reading any Quranic chapter which is customarily read for a deceased person
in a dream, signifies the death of a sick person in that family. Professional
Quran readers in a dream represent the leading people of the society. To hear
a professional Quranic recital in a dream means that people in authority will
soon gather in the place where the recital is seen in one’s dream. If one sees
himself reading his book of records on the Day of Judgment in a dream, and if
he is an unlettered person in wakefulness, it means that he will become rich
after having suffered from poverty, and that he will answer all the questions
he will be asked on the Day of Reckoning, or that he will be protected by God
Almighty from what he fears most. This happens if one’s reading of his own
records is positive, but if it reads his sins and pitfalls in the dream, then it

Wheat
(Grains) In a dream, wheat means money well earned. Buying wheat in
a dream means increase in one’s earnings, or in the number of his children. If
one sees a ruler placing a stick and steering inside a bushel of grains in a dream,
it means rising prices. Planting wheat in a dream means doing a good deed for
God’s pleasure. Walking in wheat fields in a dream means offering a service to
God Almighty. If one plants wheat but it sprouts barley instead in a dream, it
means ostentatiousness. If it grows blood in the dream, it means that he profits
from usury. Eating green wheat in the fields from its spikes in a dream means
gaining spiritual progress through ascetic detachment. Eating cooked wheat in
a dream means afflictions. Holding a bundle of ears of wheat, or placing them
inside a pot in a dream means profits equal to the number of spikes one has
gathered. Harvesting wheat outside the season in a dream means death,
destruction, deception and trials for the people of that locality. Harvesting green
spikes of wheat in the dream means the death of a young person, but if they are
yellow and dry, then they mean the death of an elderly person. Bartering wheat
for barley in a dream means replacing the Quranic recital with interest in
poetry. Seeing wheat over one’s bed in a dream represents one’s wife. Planting
its seeds in a dream means conceiving a child. In a dream, wheat also represents
a cautious person who manages his affairs with wisdom and who spends his
money to help people without being a spendthrift.

receiving an inheritance. Reading the last page, or the back cover of a book in
a dream means indebtedness. Reading a book in a dream also means receiving
an inheritance. If one finds himself as a lettered person and if he reads well in
his dream, it means that he will attain a high ranking job. If one sees himself
reading his book of records in a dream, it means that he will repent for his sins.
Reading a book in another language in a dream means travelling to such a
country, or going to places one is not familiar with and performing a job that will
earn him fame. If one sees himself reading a book in a foreign language and is
unable to properly decipher its words in a dream, it means that he will escape
from a potential danger he could face in such a land, or it could mean falling sick
in a foreign country, then recovering from one’s illness before returning to one’s
