Muzdalifa in a dream means receiving a commendation because of one’s
endeavor to fulfill his prescribed duties, or it could mean payment of debts, or
fulfillment of a promise. To see the sacred station at Muzdalifa (arb. Mishar Al-
Hflram) in a dream means observing God’s commandments and fulfilling the
divine injunctions. If one finds himself standing before the sacred station of
Muzdalifa, seeking refuge in its sanctuary in a dream, it means that he will

Slaughter
(Astray; Injustice; Kill; Murder; Relief) In a dream, slaughter means
displeasing one’s parents, or it could mean injustice. If one sees himself in a
dream slaughtered, he should pray hard and seek refuge in God Almighty to help
him. If one sees corpses of slaughtered people scattered around him in a dream,
it means profits and achievement of his goals. Seeing slaughtered people in a
dream also may mean that they have gone astray. If one sees a man or a butcher
slaughtering him in a dream, it means that he will triumph over his assailant.
If he is imprisoned, it means that he will be set free. If he is seized by fear, it
means that he will reach safety and regain his equanimity and peacefulness. If
he is a war captured prisoner, it means that he will be set free. If he is a leader,
it means that his sovereignty will widen. Slaughtering someone in a dream
means being unjust toward him. Slaughtering a pigeon in a dream means
getting married. Cutting a piece of flesh from one’s backside in a dream means
that he engages in sodomy. If one finds himself slaughtered but does not know
who killed him in the dream, it means that he is an innovator, or it could mean
that he will forge a testimony. Murdering one’s own father or mother in a dream
means disobeying them or assaulting them and becoming damned. To slaughter
a woman in a dream means adultery, or eliciting sexual intercourse with her.
To slaughter a fowl or the female of any bird or animal in dream means
deflowering a young girl. To slaughter a son in a dream means that such a son
is ruthless and unjust toward his parents. If one kills himself in a dream, it

Cold
(Atmospheric) Cold temperature in a dream means poverty. A windy and
cold weather in a dream means aggravation of one’s poverty. If it is sunny and
cold, and if ones sees himself sitting in the sun, then the condition of his poverty
will be removed. If one sees himself in a dream under the heat of the sun and
seeks refuge away from it in the shade, it means that his stress and sadness will
dissipate. If he sees that dream during the summertime, it means prosperity.
If one sees himself seeking a fire or a smoke to warm himself with it in a dream
means that one is seeking a job that entails danger. If it is burning coal which
he seeks for warmth in the dream, then it means that he will swindle money from
an orphan. Cold weather in winter is insignificant and in the summer in a dream

represents a positive power that eliminates negative forces, or it could represent
good verses evil. Entering a fortress in a dream also could mean growing in piety
or developing ascetic detachment. Seeing a distant fortress in a dream means
travelling from one place to another and gaining fame. Taking refuge in a
fortress in a dream means victory. A fortress in a dream also means repenting

If one sees a shade in the winter in a dream then it means trouble, distress,
adversities, or soliciting the company of people who foster innovation. Shade in
a dream also represents the governor of one’s town, a man of knowledge, a pious
person, an ascetic, or a religious student on the path. Seeking refuge in the shade
away from the heat of the sun in a dream means comfort, profits, or escaping
from harm. As for a woman, shade in her dream represents her husband. If an
unmarried woman sees herself seeking the shade in a dream, it means her
marriage and that she will marry a rich and a powerful person. If one finds it

Night
(Darkness; Heedlessness; Ignorance) In a dream, a moonless night represents
lack of work, stagnation, or losing one’s job. If one sees the whole world in the
dark and the moon is still radiant in the skies in a dream, it means that the
governor will temporarily relinquish his entire duties to his chief minister or
secretary, and that thieves and robbers will cluster around them for business.
If one then sees the daylight in his dream, it means that such an adversity will
pass. If people are under siege in the dream and the daylight dawns after a long
dark night in a dream, it means that their siege will be lifted. If people are
suffering from high prices and someone sees that dream, it means that prices
will go back to normal. If they are suffering from tyranny, it too will pass. The
night in a dream also means marital relations, while the day means separation
between them. In a dream, the darkness of night also represents heedlessness
and particularly if one witnesses thunder and lightning in his dream. Seeing a
complete darkness inside one’s house in a dream means taking a long journey.
The night and the day in a dream represent two adverse rulers, or two
competitors or adversaries. The night in a dream also represents an atheist,
while the day in a dream represents a believer. The night in a dream also
signifies comfort and rest, while the day means toiling and hardships. In a
dream, the night also means sexual pleasures, while the day means divorce or
separation. The night in a dream signifies economic stagnation, while the day
means business, travels and hypocrisy. If the night in a dream is interpreted to
represent the ocean, then the day means land. The night in a dream also means
death, while the day represents life and resurrection. The night and the day
together may represent the two guardian angels who record each person’s deeds
and who are God’s witnesses. If a sick person sees the dawn in a dream, it means
that he will recover from his illness, or die from it. If he is imprisoned, it means
that he will be released. If he is a sinner, it means that he will repent for his
sins. If he is a merchant and his business is not moving, it means that his
merchandise will be finally sold. The nightfall at the end of the day in a dream

Running away
(Escape; Fear; Take flight) Running away from something in a
dream means turning to God Almighty and seeking refuge in Him for safety and
protection. Running away in a dream also could meanreceivingan appointment,
or it could mean repentance from a sin, or it could mean one’s death. If one sees
himself running away to escape from an enemy he fears in a dream, it means
that he will be safe. If a man of knowledge or a scholar sees himself running away
from an enemy in fear in a dream, it means that he will be asked to sit as a judge,
or to govern. If one sees himself running away but has no fear in the dream, it

Take flight
(Flee; Run away) If one sees himself turning and running away in the
face of a battle in a dream, it means that he may contract a venereal disease,
or suffer from syphilis. Taking flight in a dream also may mean reverting to what
is proper. On the other hand, it may mean falling into sin to earn God’s wrath
and the despise of the common people. If one sees himself taking refuge in a
group of people, enticing them to fight in a dream, it means that he is
adventuring with his head by walking the path of evil, or by backbiting others.

Castle
(Fortress; Stronghold) In a dream, a castle means using the vehicle of
truth. That is how the proverb: “Truth is a castle” came about. A castle in a
dream also represents its owners, an army’s fortification, or it may represent
knowledge, the Quran, or it could mean seeking refuge in God’s protection from
the evils of the accursed Satan and his armies, such as deities, preposterous or
exaggerated titles, etcetera. The towers of a castle in a dream represent the
leaders. Its battlement represents the solders and spies. Its gates represent the
guards. Its fortress represents the minister. Its hospices and barns represent
the clan or the coffers. It is also said that a castle in a dream could represent
an infallible and a strong person. Seeing it from a distance means rising in rank

Flies
(Insect) In a dream, a fly represents a weak, lowly and a slanderous person.
If he ever benefits anyone, it will be someone of his own kind. Eating flies in a
dream means earning loathsome money. Seeing flies ruminating inside one’s
stomach in a dream means earning money from a loathsome and a despicable
man. Seeing flies inside one’s body in a dream means mixing with loathsome
people. Whatever profits one may gain through them will not last. A large size
fly in a dream represents a great enemy who will bring harm to the people and
to the economy of the land. Flies flying over one’s head in a dream represent a
weak enemy who is desiring to triumph over him. It could also mean that
someone in a high ranking position is influencing their moves or forcing them
to do what he wants. If someone who intends a journey sees flies sitting on him
in a dream, perhaps he should delay his travel plans for while. If one sees flies
inside his mouth in a dream, it means that some thieves will take refuge or hide
in his house. If a fly or a mosquito enters one’s ear in a dream, it denotes blessing,
status, authority or profits. Killing a fly in a dream means preserving one’s
health and fitness. If one sees a swarm of flies inside his house in a dream, it
means that his enemies will cause him losses. Flies are a weak but a tough
enemy. In a dream, a gathering of flies somewhere means profits, medicine,
cure, abominable actions or committing an act that will bring rebuke.

Retreat
(Sanctuary; Spiritual retreat, arh. I’tikaf) The place where one may see
himself observing a spiritual retreat in a dream represents what the person is
inclined to do. If it is a mosque in the dream, it means blessings or a marriage
to a righteous woman. If one’s retreat takes place inside his own shop in the
dream, it means that his business has become his primal concern. In a dream,
a spiritual retreat represents devotion, prayers, hunger, votive fast, depression,
humbling oneself, controlling one’s passions and desires. If one secludes himself
in a known location in a dream, it means that such a place is a source of comfort.
If one takes refuge in his shop in a dream, it means clinging to one’s livelihood.
