Repelling someone in a dream means ingratitude, or disbelief.
Repentance: In a dream, repentance means release from prison. It also means
reversing the course of one’s life to attain success and to replace failure. If one
sees himself refraining from evil and sins in a dream, it means that he will be
tried with an adversity, then repents to regain honor after humiliation. If one
repents for a sin he is not even aware of in a dream, it may be feared that he
will fall into its trap, though the conclusion will turn positive. If a musician or
an adulterer repents from sin in a dream, it means that he may experience

Quail
(A mountain short-winged and a stout-bodied bird; Mountain quail; Par¬
tridge; Woman) In a dream, a mountain quail represents a thief, a confidant,
or a pimp who secretly conducts his business of soliciting clients for his
prostitutes. However, a quail in a dream also represents a blessed food, an
answer to one’s prayers, repelling a calamity, or overcoming an adversity. In
dream interpretation, a quail also could represent a double-faced person. If a
hobbyist finds himself seeking to hear the cry of a quail in a dream, it means
profits from suspicious sources, or earnings made from reciting poems, singing,
gambling, or it could mean squandering money. In this sense, seeing a quail in
a dream could represent a crime which is punishable by death or life imprison¬
ment.

Charity
(Detergent; Discards; Filth; Loan; Tithe) Charity in a dream means
repelling calamities, recovering from illness, profits or truthfulness. This is also
true when it comes to earning one’s money lawfully, but if one gives a dead
animal or alcohol or a stolen or mismanaged money in charity, then his charity
is not acceptable and it means that he will pursue evil and indulge in sin. If a
farmer who is having a bad harvest sees himself giving some of what he plants
in charity in a dream, it means that his crop will increase and his produce will
be blessed. If one donates his charities to a rich person in a dream, it means that
he may suffer from tight financial circumstances, or that he may come to be in
need of such a person. If one gives a charitable donation to a prostitute in a
dream, it means that she will repent of her sin. If he gives a charity to a thief
in a dream, it means that the thief will cease his profession. Charity in a dream
also could mean suppressing the envy or spite of one’s rivals or subdue the
jealousy of one’s enemy, averting his dislikes, or suppressing evil in general. If
an angry person sees himself secretly distributing charity in a dream, it means
that God Almighty has forgiven him his sin of anger. Giving charity in secret
in one’s dream also could mean seeking the friendship of people in authority, or
to join the circles of people of knowledge. If a man of knowledge is asked to give
money in charity, and if he complies in his dream, it means that he will expound
his knowledge to others. If he is a merchant, it means that he will benefit others
with his business or teache them his trade. If he is a craftsman, he will teach
people his craft. If one who is under pressures, or if one is scared of something
sees himself feeding a beggar who is undergoing his own trials in a dream, it
means that one’s fears and stress will be dispelled. Charity in a dream also
denotes celebrating God’s praises, devotion, visiting the graveyards and doing
good. To spend money on God’s path in a dream means that one will surely

Forgiveness
Asking for forgiveness in a dream means expansion in one’s wealth,
victory in one’s life, repelling calamities, long life and bearing children. If asking
for forgiveness is done after completing one’s prayers in the dream, it means that
one’s prayers will be answered. If one confronts the necessity of asking for
forgiveness, then if he disdains from doing so in the dream, it means that he is
a hypocrite. If a person is asked to repent and to ask for forgiveness in a dream,
it means that he or she will commit adultery.

Incense
Perfuming oneself with sweet incense in a dream means having a good
friendship. An incense burner or holder in a dream represents a certitude that
is praiseworthy. Perfume in a dream basically means good, though to a bedridden
person it means death. This category includes: amber, henna plant ( Lawsonia
inermis, bot.), or fumigating oneself with sweet incense, though there is a
danger that could arise from the smoke in the dream. Perfuming oneself with
amber in a dream means increase in earnings that will come through the labor
of a rich person who is associated with the one seeing the dream. The seeds of
any dark colored perfume such as carnation, clove, or their powder, etcetera,
means receiving praises. The elements encompassed herein include: richness
after poverty, knowledge after ignorance, peace with one’s adversaries, bribery,
divulging one’s secrets, ingratiating oneself to a superior for personal gains, or
adulation. Incense in a dream also represents the heat of one’s love or passion.
In a dream, perfuming oneself with incense also means using an amulet or a
charm to repel jealousy, or to break through the stratagem of sorcery. Incense
in a dream also means using charm to bring peace, tranquility and profits if one
