Stars) In a dream, a star represents the best and the most noble of people. Seeing
the stars scintillating with lights and gathered inside one’s house in a dream
means that great people, or some of the leaders of the country will meet at that
house. If the stars are gathered in one’s house, and if their light is dimmed in
the dream, it means that such people will secretly meet in that house under
constraint, or because of a calamity. Holding a star in one’s hand in a dream
means begetting a noble son who will grow to be a great leader. Stealing a star
in a dream means stealing a valuable thing. Seeing a star falling from the skies
in a dream means that a calamity will befall that place and it will particularly
affect the life of a great and noble person, or it could mean the death of the
governor of that town. In general, stars in a dream represent political leaders,
the most knowledgeable of scholars, the most noble of people in the society and
the richest of the rich. Seeing many stars inside one’s house in a dream also may
signify having a large family. Seeing the seven major stars, or the fixed stars
of the solar system in a dream represents the trades, businesses, knowledge and
the leadership in the land. Each of such stars brings a different luck.

scattered in a dream means the death of great leaders or scholars, or it could

lights of meteors entering the earth atmosphere in a dream, represents a great
destruction and death. The falling of small stars in a dream signifies the death
of unknown people and the meek ones, while the falling of large stars represent

dares to indulge in sinful actions. If he barks in the dream, it means that such
a man is impudent and has a repulsive and an abominable character. A dog bite
or his scratch in a dream means harm caused by one’s enemy and its effects will
depend on the amount of pain one suffers in the dream. It could also mean falling
sick or suffering from great affliction or harm caused by a close companion or
a servant. If a dog tears off one’s clothing in a dream, it means that a vile person
is slandering and backbiting him. If one does not hear the barking of the dog in
the dream, it signifies that one’s enemy has left him inflected with a small loss.
A dog in a dream also could represent a vile and an insolent woman who belong
to a group of evildoing people and who are persistent in their enmity. A puppy
in a dream represents a loved child. If it is a white puppy in the dream, it means
that such a son will grow to be a believer. If it is a black puppy in the dream,

fears, or it could mean lack of work. If one sees such expedition entering a town
in his dream, it also means a high rate of unemployment. Seeing a sick house
dog in a dream means illness and financial losses or loss of appetite or losing
the pleasure of living. A barking bitch in a dream signifies harm and deceit

trickery and deception. If one sees himself digging a tunnel or a hole for someone
else in a dream, it means tricking and deceiving him. If one enters the tunnel
that he dug in the dream, it means that he will fall in his own trap. If one enters
a tunnel or a burrow and cannot see light at the end of it, or if a traveller digs
a hole, enters it and can longer see the skies or the stars above him in the dream,
it means that thieves will rob him from his luggage, or that he will be high¬
jacked, or stopped by a band of highway robbers. If one sees himself taking an

(Cage) Imprisonment in a dream means benefits, money and comfort. It
also could mean the reversal of one’s condition for the worst. Becoming a
prisoner in a dream also could mean making unnecessary and wasted efforts to
unveil a secret. In general, prison in a dream means difficulties and humiliation.
If one sees a known personality or a government administrator imprisoned or
jailed, it could mean the same. If one sees himself incarcerated in a large prison
in a dream, it means that he will stand before a strong person who will delegate
an important responsibility to him, and from which he will gain spiritual
advancement. If he is incarcerated in an unknown jail which is built from plaster
in a dream, then it represents his grave. If one sees himself locked and tied-up
inside a house in a dream, it means a positive advancement in his life. If in such
a place one sees himself being tortured in a dream, it means that his benefits
and profits will be greater. If a woman sees herself imprisoned in a dream, it
means that she will marry an important person or an older person. If in one’s
dream the prison is administered by a religious authority, it means that one
correctly prescribes to his religion. If it is a civil prison, then it means adver¬
sities, sufferings and distress caused by hypocrisy and by blaming others. An
unknown prison in a dream means the world. A prison in a dream also
represents an ill-natured wife, a difficult cause, silence, or controlling one’s
tongue, the perfidy of one’s enemy, accusations, allegations, associating with
rich people, one’s grave, suspension of travels because of an illness, losing one’s
drive, poverty, or unhappiness. Entering a prison in a dream also means
longevity, or reuniting with one’s beloved. If one chooses to live in a sanctuary
away from people in a dream, it means that he will be protected from sin. If a
sick person leaves his prison cell in a dream, it means that he will recover from

sents adversities he wishes for them to be removed. Walking out of such an
imprisonment in a dream means relief from such adversities If one is travelling,
it means that he is a heedless, and if he is sick, it means that his sickness is a
prolonged one. It is also said that imprisonment in a dream may mean that one’s
prayers are answered and that his difficulties and distress will be removed. If
one sees himself incarcerated in an unknown jail of an unknown location and
whose dwellers have uncommon appearance in a dream, such a prison then
represents his grave. If a sick person sees himself walking out of an unknown
prison, or out of a tiny house into a large open space in a dream, it means that
he will recover from his illness and fully enjoy his life. If one sees himself
incarcerated in a prison he does not recognize in a dream, it means that he will
marry a woman through whom he will prosper and have children. If one sees
himself tied-up inside his own house in a dream, it means that he will profit and
witness blessings that will show in his household members. If one who is
experiencing difficulties in his life sees himself tied-up to a chair or to a wall in
a dream, it means that his problems and fears will be dispelled. If one sees
himself building a prison in a dream, it means that he will meet a righteous man,
or an Imam who will guide him on the straight path. A prison in a dream also
represents paralysis, arrogance, self-deception, or incarcerating troublesome

Ascending in the skies
(Climbing; Rising) To see oneself ascending in the skies
in a dream means falling in rank, or it could mean oppressing oneself. If one sees
himself ascending in the skies until he reaches the stars, merges with them and
if he becomes a star in the dream, it means that he will receive titles and powers.
If one sees himself ascending a mountain it means depression, stress and
travels. However, rising in a dream means elevation of status, and descending
means a backslide. If one sees himself walking up a steep road in a dream, it
means rising in status, but involving toiling and hardships. If one sees himself
climbing a mountain, then the mountain in a dream is interpreted as one’s goal.
Thus, one’s dream may mean attaining one’s goal as far as he reaches in his
climb. In dream interpretation, any ascent of a mountain, a trail, a hill, an
elevation or even climbing a roof means attaining one’s goal or satisfying one’s
needs. To see oneself climbing flat on his back in a dream then means uncalled

woman. If one sees himself turned into a sun in a dream, it means that he may
receive a dominion that will stretch as far as the radiance one sees in his dream.
If one sees himself holding the sun in a dream, it means that he will gain
strength and wealth that will come about through someone in the government.
If one receives the sun hanging as a necklace in a dream, it means that he will
win a seat in the senate. If he goes near the sun or sits inside it in a dream, it
means that he will acquire power, wealth and support. Should he qualify, the
stretch of his power will extend between the two horizons he sees in his dream,
or it may mean that he will acquire a knowledge coupled with fame. If one sees

people of one’s locality. If a traveller sees the sun too bright in a dream, it means
that he will return home safely. If one sees the sun rising from the East and
setting in the West with a clear brightness in a dream, it means blessings for

If the sun rises from the West, then it means defamation, exposing the ills of the
person seeing it, or divulging a secret. The rising of the sun from the West also
means recovering from an illness, and for a businessman, it means profits from

means waking people up to go to work, seeking one’s livelihood, begetting a son,
or releasing a prisoner. If one is hiding something, then seeing the sun in his
dream means that his secret will be exposed. If one sees the rays of the sun
falling over his bed or threatening him in a dream, it means a painful sickness,
or inflammation of the skin. If the sun rays which are falling over his bed provide
him with good energy in the dream, it means a good harvest, or good health. If
travellers see many suns in the sky in a dream, it means profits and prosperity.
Running away from the sun in a dream means that one may leave his wife, or
he may run away from the governor of that land, or escape from an evil. If the
sun and the moon meet in one’s dream, it means a royal marriage, or a marriage
between a beautiful woman and a wealthy man. Clouds covering the rays of the
sun in a dream means an illness. If one carries the sun in a bag in a dream, it
means money. The sun in a dream also could represent a wise man, or a teacher
one whose company is sought. Otherwise, the sun in a dream could represent,
the governor, one’s husband, wife, child, mother, daughter, aunt, father, or
grandfather and the above interpretations will relate to such a person. Whatever
happens to the sun in the dream, will then affect such people. If one sees the sun
rising, then immediately setting in the same direction in a dream, it means a
newborn who may die shortly after his birth, returning an ex-prisoner to jail
shortly after his release, earning amazing amounts of money, or repenting from
sin, reverting to wrongdoing, the return of a bride to her parent’s house
immediately after her wedding night, or it could mean reconciliation between

dream means benefiting from its services and prospering from its rays, or that
one may become a man of knowledge, a scholar, an astrologer, or a fortuneteller.

or it could mean loss of spiritual direction, or it could be a severe warning about

in a dream, it means that he will discover a mystery or acquire knowledge about
spirits, or he could become a translator, an analyst, or a consultant. Seeing the

minister, a great scholar, a handsome lookingboy, a tyrant, or a liar. Seeingthe
moon as it is in the skies in a dream represents the chief minister of the land.
Seeing the moon sitting in one’s lap in a dream means getting married. Sitting
in the moonlight and talking to one’s friend in a dream means reverie and idle
talk. If a woman sees that the moon has fallen inside her house, then if she takes
it and wraps it in a swaddle in a dream, it means that she will beget a son who
will shortly die after his birth and she will suffer great sorrow from his loss.
Seeingthe moon turned to the dark side in a dream means dismissal of the chief
minister from his post. Seeing the moon advancing before the sun in a dream
means that the chief minister will rise against his master. If the moon disap¬
pears in the skies in a dream, it means that one’s business has come to a halt,
or that something he has asked for will not materialize, whether it be good or

a dream, it means glad tidings of a son. If one is looking into the skies and he
suddenly sees the moon in his dream, it means that his enemies will be
subjugated to him. Holding the moon in a dream means receiving a gift from a
ruler or a rich person. If a ruler sees the moon dimmed in a dream, it means that
his subjects will rise against him. If the moon turns into a sun in a dream, it
means receiving honor and wealth from either one’s father or wife. The moon
in a dream also represents one’s wife, sons, daughters, sister, properties,
business, craft, a vessel, a ship, or it could mean travels. As for a sick person
or a traveller, seeing the moon in a dream means one’s destruction or death. If
the moon is veiled by clouds in the dream, it means a short sickness. Seeing the
moon through the clouds in a dream means losing one’s job. If a rich person sees
clouds covering the moon in a dream, it means losing his wealth. If the moon
speaks to someone in his dream, it means that he will receive a high ranking
appointment. If a pregnant woman sees herself trying to reach the moon with
her hand but to no avail in a dream, it means that she is wishing to have a son.
Prostrating oneself to the sun or the moon in a dream means committing an
awesome sin. If one sees the sun and the moon prostrating themselves before
him in a dream, it means that his father and mother are pleased with him. If
the moon splits in two halves in a dream, it means that harm will befall a great
person, or that a major sign will manifest to show the divine power in that
locality. If one sees a lunar eclipse, or if the moon becomes opaque, or turns
reddish in a dream, it means that major changes will take place in one’s life. The
moon in a dream also represents one’s bosom friend, an unjust governor, his
chief minister, his assistant, a gambler, an oath, recovering from an illness or
suffering from eye irritation. Seeing a full moon during the early days of the
lunar month, when it is supposed to be only a crescent in a dream means benefits
while the opposite means harm. The moon in a dream also represents a scholar,
an astrologer, an astronomer or a guide. Seeing the moon at its highest point
in a dream means honor and blessings while seeing it at its lowest point in a
dream means the opposite. Seeing the moon in the position of Aries in a dream
means benefits for someone who desires to meet with high ranking people,
though it could also have a negative connotation for someone who works in
construction. Seeing the moon in the position of Taurus in a dream means losses
for a business traveler. As for seeing it in the position of Gemini in a dream,
then it means profits from a ranch and raising livestock. Seeing the moon in the
position of Cancer in a dream means good time to get married and conceive
children. Seeing it in the position of Leo in a dream means bad business for
partnerships, securities, or mixing capitals. Seeing it in the position of Virgo

Aquarius in a dream means bad time for sending messages or engaging in any

contracts and receiving a leadership position. If one sees the sun, the moon and
all the planets assembled before him, and together they all produced a radiant
and a magnificent light in a dream, it means that one’s words are respected by
people in authority. If the stars and the planets have no light in the dream, then
they mean a calamity. In a dream, seeing a sun and a moon on one’s right side
and the same on his left side, above him, in front of him and behind him means
a calamity and a defeat that will force one to retreat or to escape but to no avail.

himself swearing in God’s Name before someone in a dream, it means that the
other person will deceive him. To swear solemnly by the stars, the celestial signs
or by any physical sign in a dream means arrogance, deception, humiliation,
hypocrisy or heedlessness. If one is truthful in his oath in a dream it means that
he will win his argument, speak the truth or perform an act that pleases God
Almighty. To swear by God in a dream when failure to perform requires
atonement means following the truth and emulating the leading example of
God’s Prophet, upon whom be peace.

Ceiling
A ceiling in a dream represents a well respected person. If it is made of
wood, then it represents a fallacious and a deceptive person. If the ceiling looks
as if it were going to cave over one’s head in a dream, it means being afraid of
someone in authority. If consequently some dirt falls over his shirt from the
ceiling in the dream, it means that he will receive money in compensation for
his pain and sufferings. If the central pillar that holds the ceiling cracks and
falls in the dream, it means the death of the man of that house. If the ceiling
collapses in the dream, it means the death of the man of that house. If one hides
under a roof in a dream, it means that he will enter his house and rob his family’s
belongings. If water is leaking from one’s ceiling in a dream, it means crying in
that house for the sake of a departed soul or crying because of a sick person in
that family. If rain dissolves the ceiling in a dream, it means loss of money and
falling-out from grace. If one sees himself standing on the ceiling of his house
and cannot come down in the dream, it means his imprisonment. In a dream,
the central beam that carries the ceiling represents a hypocrite who supports
the business of an alliance of profiteers. Should the central beam break down
and fall in the dream, it means that such a person will be removed from his office.
If the ceiling falls over someone’s head in a dream, it means that punishment
and sufferings will befall him too. If one sees the stars under the roof of his house
