Lane
(Avenue; City gates; Path; Road; Trail) Seeing a lane in a dream is like
seeing the city’s gates. If it is closed during the daylight time in the dream, it
means that an accident will take place inside the city or at the end of the lane,
and that such an accident will necessitate the closing of its gates, or the blocking
of the lane. A lane in a dream also represents a servant or cohabitation.
Whatever shape the lane takes in one’s dream, one will see the same in
wakefulness. Following that trail of thinking, walking a lane in a dream means
suffering the wrong treatment of a merchant, a person in authority or a
craftsperson. An open road in a dream means that one may work for someone

Road
(Avenue; Direction; Path; Trail; Way) A road in a dream represents the
divine law. Seeing many roads in a dream denotes deviation from God’s path,
or it could mean religious innovation. Walking on a side road, or yielding at a
fork in a dream means going astray. If a highway robber attacks someone in a
dream, it means that he will suffer from the loss of a friend. If one sees a ruler
strolling through a rugged road in a dream, it means that he will establish
justice and pave the way to righteousness and prosperity. A straight road in a
dream represents God’s path, or it could represent one’s true faith in God’s
revelations, or in following the practice of God’s Messenger, upon whom be
peace, or following the guidance of one’s teacher or shaikh. Walkingon a straight
path in a dream means repenting from one’s sins and finding guidance. Seeing
many roads in a dream means hesitancy, fluctuations in one’s faith, doubt,
heedlessness, or apostasy. A road in a dream also represents a craft, eternity,
the past, aging, continuity, the good example, or the bad example. A boat
following the correct sea lane in a dream means salvation. A road in a dream
also represents a woman, one’s livelihood, truth, or death. If a merchant sees
himself walking on a road in a dream, it means that he will find new avenues
to earn more money. A hidden road in a dream means pride, innovation and self-

person with exaggerated hopes. This is why this type of sprout is also called:

Ascending in the skies
(Climbing; Rising) To see oneself ascending in the skies
in a dream means falling in rank, or it could mean oppressing oneself. If one sees
himself ascending in the skies until he reaches the stars, merges with them and
if he becomes a star in the dream, it means that he will receive titles and powers.
If one sees himself ascending a mountain it means depression, stress and
travels. However, rising in a dream means elevation of status, and descending
means a backslide. If one sees himself walking up a steep road in a dream, it
means rising in status, but involving toiling and hardships. If one sees himself
climbing a mountain, then the mountain in a dream is interpreted as one’s goal.
Thus, one’s dream may mean attaining one’s goal as far as he reaches in his
climb. In dream interpretation, any ascent of a mountain, a trail, a hill, an
elevation or even climbing a roof means attaining one’s goal or satisfying one’s
needs. To see oneself climbing flat on his back in a dream then means uncalled

Ascent: (Incline; Mountain road; Steep incline) If one sees himself climbing a
steep incline in a dream, it means toiling to succeed in both his material and
spiritual life, or it could mean trying to gather the benefits of both worlds,
though with great strain on him . An ascent in a dream also could signify a
difficult woman or a stern man who can only be handled with kindness,
gentleness and love. An ascent in a dream also represents one’s associate, or a
business partner who cannot be trusted with one’s money or life. An ascent in
a dream also represents the road to salvation or the dangers one may have to
cross and the deeds that can save him from hell-fire. An ascent in a dream also
could represent adversities, difficulties and dangers. Ascending a steep incline
in a dream means danger and descending a steep hill means reaching safety.
An ascent in a dream also could represent a bridge, an underpass, a wife, a
woman, or a scorpion. Walking through a steep incline in a dream also means
rising in station because of one’s knowledge, politics, good conduct, fulfillment
of one’s duties, his caring for others or wisdom. Falling through a steep hill in
a dream means falling in rank, losing one’s prestige, losing one’s money, denying
the truth, objecting to one’s religion or walking into darkness. Climbing in a
dream always means attainment of one’s goals. Climbing flat on one’s back in
a dream has negative connotations. Descending from a steep hill, or from a ship,
or coming down form a castle or a mountain in a dream also mean that one’s goal

(Dwellings; Face; Look; State; Transient) One’s garment in a dream
represents his innermost thoughts that will eventually show in his attitude in
life. If one’s thoughts are good, then it will show, and if they are evil, they will
also manifest. If one wears a slipper over his head and a turban in his foot in
a dream, it means that he is carrying trouble. Depending on its type and name,
a garment in a dream could represent a man or a woman. Wearing a new
garment in a dream is better than seeing an old one. If a man sees himself
wearing a woman’s apparel in a dream, it means that he is a bachelor. If a woman
sees herself wearing a man’s garment in a dream, it means that she is
unmarried. Wearing a tightly buttoned shirt in a dream means experiencing
tight circumstances or reuniting with a traveller returning home, or it could
mean marriage for an unwed person. Wearing a stately apparel in a dream
means honor and dignity. Wearing a soldier’s uniform in a dream means war.
Wearing a scholar’s robe or a teacher’s vest in a dream means studying to become
a learned person. Wearing an ascetic’s woolen wrap in a dream means becoming
a renunciate. Wearing a salesman’s suit in a dream means hard work or looking
for work if the suit looks expensive in the dream, for people mostly wear
expensive looking suits when they are still searching for work. Wearing a white
garment in a dream means pride, honor and dignity. Wearing silk in a dream
means strength and occupying a high rank in a business or government. If one
sees a deceased person wearing a silken garment in a dream, it means that he
is dwelling in the heavenly paradise. Wearing a garment that is adorned with
gold in a dream means victory over one’s enemy. A black garment means honor,
reign and having mastery over people. Wearing a green garment in a dream
means martyrdom. Wearing a cotton garment in a dream means following the
Prophet’s tradition (uwbp). Wearing a woolen garment in a dream means
clarity, unless if it is coarse or unfitting and in that case, it means poverty and
humiliation. Wearing a linen garment in a dream means enjoying a blessing or
a favor. Wearing a brocaded garment in a dream means receiving an important
and a revered message, rising in station, enjoying wealth or it could represent
the blessing of having a child. Wearing a robe that is trailing behind one’s feet
in a dream means rebellion and disobedience, while wearing a moderately short
coat in a dream means purity, virtues and chastity. Wearing any type of garment
in a dream means emulating the character of such people or becoming a prisoner
of war. Wearing a kufi or a headdress for prayers in a dream means atonement
for one’s sins. Wearing a jubbah or a long cloak in a dream means longevity.
Wearing an open sports jacket in a dream means ease in one’s life or financial
success. Wearing a special costume for a festival or a celebration in a dream
means prosperity and a wealth that is saved for one’s children, or it could mean
buying new merchandise for one’s shop. Wearing a military uniform in a dream
means distress, trouble or a scientific dispute. Wearing one’s traditional cos¬
tumes in a dream, or that of another community means to befriend them and

Mangy
(Skin disease of domestic animals; A bacterial disease) In a dream, mangy
represents pestilence or a plague. If one sees himself struck by such a disease
causing him to itch though no puss or malignant festering runs from his sores
in the dream, it means that his troubles and adversities are caused by his own
progeny or relatives. If one’s body is afflicted with mangy in a dream, it means
that his troubles will come from his friends or from his working environment.
If it strikes at his right hand or his cheek in a dream, then his adversities will
come from his clan. If it strikes at his left hand, then his troubles will come from
his business partner or brother. If his illness forms puss in the dream, it means
hard earned money that will also cause headache. Such a disease means money
for a poor person and it could mean leadership for a rich person. Following this
trail of thinking, mangy or any skin disease in a dream signify less harm
compared to other diseases. If an employees experiences such skin disorder in
a dream, it means that he does not qualify to work in that company. If it is one’s
son in the dream, it means that he will disobey his father concerning an
undesired friendship. If it is one’s wife in the dream, it means that she is engaged
in something awful that will bring shame to the entire family.
